Darleen, they are doing emergency patching to the NA server...which is probably why it is down. Also, everyone and their grandmother is probably trying to play. Diablo son says it will be this way for a week or so and then it should be stabilized. No help though when you want to play and can't.

All I have to say is that excuse for Blizzard is Unacceptable...People have waiting 12 years for them to get it right....

I was playing for 1 hour then got an error message...Could not proceed....Very frustrating to say the least....

Darleen, according to Twitter, the servers are down for maintenance until at least 5:30 or 6:30 CST. I think the roll-out gremlins are working overtime.

I do wish they had an offline mode...but maybe I will install Diablo 2 which I never played and entertain myself with that while I wait for the gremlins to get squashed.

I managed to get myself into a queue about 1/2 an hour ago, but since I'm going out soon I had to leave it. Hopefully things will be up soon.

This is pretty typical of roleouts or expansions, so I'm not surprised. It will be a while, I'm sure, before the big bugs are smoothed out.

I somewhat agree LOL...I just thought of something funny..When I was playibg Book Of Unwritten Tales..The part where the two Old guys are playing an online game, and the Monkey is controlling the online server, and I would have to get the Knome to distrack the monkey so the server won't work..

I feel like those old guys in that game..

I've been playing a monk and tonight will most likely play a demon hunter with hubby tonight. But we will see...depending on what class he wants to play.

L4L....I am the Demon Hunter...I love her cause ..I also had luck with the Bow Hunter on the Diablo 1 & 2 Games....I love the hand to hand combat....

I get confused with the wizard , and using spells...... LOL

I'm playing as a witch-doctor. I love having the ability to send things in to fight for me. I would have tried the monk, since I like having healing abilities, but monk's are melee, which I'm pretty bad at!

BTW, does anyone know if there is a way yet to change the chat fonts? They're pretty small and blurry for me. I know in Wow you can change the size and color.

Dar, I played Demon Hunter in the Beta for awhile and really had lots of fun with her.

JeanK, I partied with son with his Witch Doctor today and I kept trying to attack his pets! Those fire spells are awesome though.

edit 2: Ok, googled and found lots of folks with the same complaint but no answers.....Perhaps this will be addressed in a future patch.

I keep getting disconnected tonight, so I'll wait until later to try to play. I did discover, though, that changing my screen resolution in options cleared up the font and made everything else more clear. There's no separate option for fonts yet that I can see.

Yea, they are doing lots and lots of server restarts. Apparently, notice of this goes to twitter as well as appearing onscreen.

What did you change your resolution to?

I just changed it to what I thought my monitor was. It gives you different options, the way it did in WoW, so you can play with it until you get it looking the way you want it.

I'm playing a warrior. He's has some powerful spells. One thing I don't like about him is he spits. Yuck. At first I thought he was sneezing, but with my headphones on last nite I could hear better.

I too don't like the small font.
