Good morning; woke to cool temps and a bit overcast. which makes for good working outside, but I thinks I better get some indoor stuff done first.

Nan, when my dogs were puppies I'd take them out when it was thundering (not lightning) and sit with them, but it has been to no avail. Luckily Rebel tolerates it all but the girls keep trying to be lapdogs. I know what you mean when you spend half the night up with them.

Off to get something constructive done so will wish all a great day.

Off to eat, shower, and dress for the play...back dinner timish. Have a great afternoon all

Well, I got to sleep in until 10am!! Fab-U-Lous! Now, I'm sipping on a cup of Hubby's brew, the house is quiet, as Hubby is volunteering at church this morning. Then it's a chillaxingly slug day, with barbecue later. Life is good!

Off to see what's afoot!

It's officially a new record! I put out my old barbeque grill (still usable but needs cleaning and painting) and it's 45 minutes later and nobody has taken it yet. Wow. Usually FREE stuff goes in less than 15 minutes. Guess it's a slow day in the neighborhood.

I'm going to wait for a good sale and buy one of those little table top outdoor cheapo grills. Haven't done the outdoor bit in years, but ya never know when the mood will strike.

I decided to make some doggie treats with that leftover delicious crunchy and natural peanut butter that I can't enjoy anymore and I can cut them with animal cracker cookie cutters. She better like them. Monday is a good day for baking things.

So sleepy today -a good day to watch a movie on the cmptr. Maybe I'll fish around for an old horror one.

Hot day and cats are stretched out and asleep of course. Amazing how they scrinch up in winter and lenghten in summer.

Back from our play...short and sweet and fun. Then a few errands...then home. Son and the boys are all piled in his bed watching sports and playing fire.

Hot dogs and hamburgers later....sipping on my Coke Icee and relaxing for a bit.

Hello everybody.

I just got back from visiting a friend from back home who retired down here at the lake.

He used to go out with my uncle and find the indian artifacts, and has quite a collection that I got to see and drool over.

He gave me 4 pieces. A scraper, a conch from a breast plate, and two pieces of pottery.

I was thrilled.

Now it's time to post for tomorrow. I have an early early day tomorrow. The next 3 days actually.

My day off was too short.

I'm home and really really need a shower. My niece and I did a wonderful 27 mile bike ride along the river. We then stopped and had a fantastic lunch/dinner at an upscale bistro on the river. We were so sweaty and dirty that I am sure they were relieved when I asked them if we could sit on the outdoor deck overhanging the river.

I was greasy from putting the chain back on my nieces bike after it fell off. We collided once when she hit the brake suddenly for a groundhog that decided to bolt out of the woods at her and I crashed into her. She also ran into a wall in a tunnel after another biker cut her off coming at her. It was also 92 degrees, so after all that, you can imagine how sweaty and dirty we were.

When we came home we grabbed the dogs and managed once around the lake for a 2 mile hike. I am finally home, happy and ready to shower. Life is absolutely awesome. It's days like today that make you appreciate how wonderful it really is.

I am so happy to have someone who wants to ride with me and can do it without effort. I planned a short ride but next time she is up for a longer one. Woohoo!
