Good morning everyboomie. wave

I'm having extreme difficulty tonight doing anything. smirk

Getting here was a challenge, but pulling up any web page at all is a challenge tonight.

It's late and I want to make sure I get something posted, so I'm just going to start the thread.

If you know any good jokes, please share them with all. thumbsup

I'm not done and I'll try to get more posted before I lay me down to sleep. sleep

Have a happy day everyone. yes

joe

Good morning boomies! Today is another day in the 90's (it hit 95 yesterday) and I will be biking the river trail hre with my niece. We are leaving as soon as I get the bike carrier on my truck and put air in the tires. We will lunch at a river front cafe. It will be a lovely day!

Super Sunday ya'll wave

I was up waaaay too late last night. Hubby and I hacked and slashed til past midnight. Since I can't fall asleep right after all that adrenaline, I thought I'd read a bit which usually makes me sleepy. Not! Finally got back up at 3 and had some cereal which usually knocks me out, and yeppers, that did the trick. Woke this morning to the Skyman's fussing...."Mom, I've been in this kennel for hours and hours...let's get up."

Speaking of which, last night during dinner the dogs were fussing. Without thinking, I said, "Hush Sky, it's not time to feed you yet." Perrin got an awed look and his face and said, "How did you know what he was thinking?" Kids....lol

Hubby and I have a play later. Son and the boys were up all night so they are all sleeping in. I am kidded out so I may hide in the bedroom once they get up. We shall see.

Joe, sorry you are having such net woes. Can you get your provider to come out and check your connection?

Back later wavepuppy

Good morning all.

Just got through making umpteen dozen trips up and down the basement stairs. Bill finished a big knock down wardrobe and all the pieces needed to be carried up to the garage. That was my exercise for the morning. Now I think I shall go play something.

Wonderful day to everyone.

After a dull morning yesterday, I have Apartment News! I'm just not sure what the news is. duh

A female in a sporty car parked smack dab in front of my house. This is 2 doors down from the Apartments. Then I saw one of the apartment dwellers loading 'parts' of kid's bikes into the car. They were tiny bikes all taken apart. Then he walked back to the apartments and came back with more parts and other 'stuff'. Girl just sat in car.

Finally when he had the entire car packed with things, he got in the passenger seat and off they went. They were back in less than 10 minutes with an empty car.

So now I'm thinking, why didn't they park AT the apartments (plenty of room there). The guy I recognized (dog owner) who always walks up the street bouncing a basketball.

Sooooo then the car is back here, the guy goes to the apartments and the 'other' guy (who lives with him, 2 females and 4 kids) comes to the car with 3 or 4 of those razor scooters and packs them into the trunk. THEN that guy comes back with more bike parts and a small barbeque grill and some other bags of stuff, but he takes the grill back.

Then the first guy comes back with something and off they go again, not to return till 7 hours later at 10 pm, when the original guy gets out, goes to the apartments, comes back with a backpack, gets into the car for a moment, gets out, goes back to the apartments and comes back and then he and the girl drive off.

So my best guess is....the guy who was arrested a few days ago, is part of this and the two guys packing the car are also. It looks like they are moving out, little by little and the girl doesn't wanna be seen by anyone in the apartments.

Probably a domestic fight and the owner is kicking one or more of them out, or a restraining order, etc.

I will know in a few days if there is an apartment for rent. Very strange stuff when you have people parking in front of your house when they could just as well park 2 doors down in front of their own. Duh.

Updates if I see any more fun action. happydance
