Each sentence has two words missing. Find one of the missing words, add a letter to it, and anagram it to get the other word.
The missing words are either 4 and 5 or 5 and 6 letters long, and each sentence uses a different letter of the alphabet. (e.g Rog sought to ____ things up by producing an _____ quiz – “liven” and “evil”, using “N”). The word lengths are given (4/5 or 5/6), and the shorter word can be either the first or the second word in the sentence.
There may well be more than one sensible answer for each sentence, but do they use the right letter….?
