Update:

Summer school doesn't start (online) until June 4th, but I'll have to find out what books I'll need.

Anyway, starting today Queen AlienBZ has started me on doing chores around the house to help out as that's her way of teaching me to take responsibility so that by the time I start driving I'll be a responsible, careful, safe driver and thus be able to keep my license with no worries about my insurance going up b/c of reckless driving.

However, back in the old days I nave never learned to take responsibility, and this had gotten me into trouble, in which my parents had to keep bailing me out, plus one of the things I had to put up with (but never wanted to do) was having to go out by riding the city busses, while my sisters and nephews got to drive a car and go here, there without worrying about time of day/weather conditions, whereas I was limited as to where I could go as well as I had to worry about "is it raining/sunny outdoors".

And the reason I never learned to take responsibility in the past is b/c my parents always catered to me, and they never had me do chores (other than washing dishes sometimes) while growing up.

Glad you are learning to be more responsible.

So this chore thing that the Queen has started me on, I'd say (and it makes me feel good to say this) is, like I mentioned in the GB birthday thread, I'm moving from the babyhood/young childhood (they have very few, if any, responsibilities) such as 3 - 5 yrs. old stage of my behavior into my early teens stage of my behavior, which is when young people quit taking temper tantrums, making demands, acting whinny and complaining, asking lots of dumb questions, etc, like little kids do, and early teens is when they start putting on their "mature garb," by acting quiet, thinking for themselves, etc.

Yesterdays' update: I did the few dishes in the sink, went to the store, and ran the sweeper.

Today I weeded the porch planter.
