I have just started the game Yoomurjak's Ring and was doing okay till I encountered the cipher code! No I don't need help with that, after a long time I actually worked it out, believe it or not! I shut it down by saving going back in before exiting to make sure it had saved, it had. Great, so I exited. Just went to play it again and it asked for the game registration code again. Thought that a little odd but did as it asked when it opened it would not let me "continue" and the only thing I could open was a "new game". Now, I am not too proud to say that the code breaking was long and hard for me and really do not want to do it all again. Any ideas please. I used my "search" and it came up three times. On desktop,in documents and a internet link for some reason. Where did my first game with the saved play on it go? anyone know?

Hi Lozza,

An old post from Pilaus the developer states: Where the program files are there should be a Private Moon Studios folder and inside a Yoomurjak folder. Open it and look for a Data folder. From that folder open the following: Save/Level_00. The last 8 saves are listed there with date and exact time.

Hope you find them.

Hum, sorry it's me again. I couldn't find the saves you mentioned but that is probably down to my very bad computer knowledge. Well I started again and instead of saving I clicked exit(auto save) that seemed to work. Shut it down and re opened it a few times, and great it let me "continue". I am now at the part where I get a mobile phone message from Juli. you have to go to the cafe to speak to Karla who marks my map for the next place to go,(without that I cannot go any further). When I go to the cafe I speak to Karla, I say "not a good time to disturb the lady"! I have tried to phone Juli and the game shuts down, with a "sorry Yoomurjak's Ring has encountered a problem and has to shut down! Oh dear what can I do? Please help I do so want to play this game. Judit from Private Moon Studios recommended this to me.

Very difficult to diagnose this type of problem without some kind of info in the message to lead us somewhere.
You should post this problem in the Glitches forum and maybe Jenny or Robert Gault can help you.

Does the game shut down at the same point every time, or was it a one-off occurrence? If it's at the same point, yes, I'd recommend posting at Glitches. Include your computer specs and graphics card details. There might be a patch or something else they can advise.

Have you checked against MaG's walkthrough HERE meanwhile, in case there's another way around this part of the game?

You didn't overstep -- the suggestion to post at Glitches forum was a good one. Just thinking of alternatives in case the shutdown was a one-off, as sometimes happens. smile Thanks!

The shut down happens every time I click on the mobile phone. Usually the phone has a blue lit screen, now it is black. I have back tracked to see if I have missed something to pick up but don't think so. All was going well till I had the phone call from Juli. The next thing I had to do using The walkthrough you mentioned was to go to the cafe and speak to Karla, but the subtitles say not to bother her now! I phone my mentor Juli and click on black screened phone the game shuts down with the same message! I can walk to the next part in the game but apart from getting very lost I doubt that I could do anything further as the trigger, Karla's' chat/marked map, was not done? The graphics card computer specs I know nothing about or even where they are! Computer idiot me!

Assuming you downloaded this game;It almost sounds like a corrupted download to me. Usually when a game is corrupted parts will play fine until you get to the corrupted file then it crashes.Did you make sure the size of the download exactly matched the size posted.

Certainly sounds like you are right.
My son has updated my graphics card, no change unfortunately. I am going to uninstall and re install making sure the sizes match this time it is a last best hope but you have to try don't you? (sigh). Let to know how it went.?

Decided NOT to uninstall as it took over 20 hours to download the first time. So still stuck

Next step would be to go to the "Glitches" forum.
