Hello everybody, I made it.

I clocked out a couple of minutes after 1:00, and when I was walking out they were paging me.

Well they were paging the person covering Seasonal, which was me.

It's 92 in the shade so I doubt if I go out anywhere. I'd love to go to the creek, but UGH!!

I should go lay down and sleep. I didn't sleep good at all last night. I woke up at 12:30 hot, and with a splitting headache, which I still had when I got up. I never went back to sleep for long.

All is well now though.

Ana, are you sore today after yesterday's event? I always took off the day after to rest up.

Speaking of sleep -or lack of- why do I so often wake up at 4 AM wide awake and back to sleep at 6 and wake up at 8 tiredsleepy?

Joe glad the day work is behind you now so you can relax and enjoy the evening. We made it to 70 but the storms moved in and the wind changed so we are down to 59 now.

Back from friend's house, the Queen was wondering whether to extend the dormers along with re-shingling the roof this yr, or building a new garage with new room additions on top of it, if she wanted one or the other, or both work-projects spread out over at least 2 yrs, she asked me, and I said, "go for it, have both done."

She said it'll be a big job & cost lots of $$$$, so I said the Good Shepherd will bless her with the money to do it, and AFAIK she accepted it without questions.

Well I never made it to my nap. As you might have guessed I went to the creek.

I've never told anyone before, but my native American, or Indian given name is Malawa lkoo koo.

It's hard to write and even harder to pronounce.

You have to pause between the two koos about 2 seconds.

Loosly translated it means "he who walks with no sense."

Even more loosly it means "There goes an idiot."

So I went out in the sweltering heat and trudged around the creek being feasted on by mosquitos for almost 3 hours and found nothing but some chips and chunks.

Now ahm purdy tard.

Hahahahaha. That made me teary.

Well actually both won. I did some laundry and some book grilling and then when my brain no longer knew who it was, I collapsed into bed unconscious. I slept for about 40 minutes and felt much more alive when I woke up.

Son is out for the night so it's just Soot and I and the 5 4-legged ones. Dinner is over, the kitchen is clean, and the dogs are fed. Now it's time to sit and sip for a bit. Hubby and I will probably play D3 for a little bit and then hit the hay.

Joe, I think the same of myself when I am out in all weather with the dogs or the bike etc. At least we do what makes us happy. I do not think you are an idiot at all.

Yankee, yesterday my shoulders were a bit stiff but I'm all good today.

I have to go back to the corner. I've been there all day and I'll be there all evening. I am having a much needed productive day.

Oh Midgie, there have been a few times I've been in tears trying to figure out the steps to a puzzle. Fortunately, it is not often or I'd have to hang up writing.

Joe, did you take baby today? There is a man that brings his bird in a bird backpack to the dog pack. It'll sing to a dog if the dog stands on his hind legs to peek in.
