What a fun game! I remember playing that one a few times. Did you try Tally Ho's walkthrough ? It has pictures of the escape route.

Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?

Chris,

Make a new folder inside the saved game folder.
Place all those old files of yours that are similar in numbers as the one you are going to put in there.

This is in case you want to use your old ones again or something goes wrong - your old saved game files are safe.

Then when they are all in that folder - place the ones you are sent in that folder now.

Now - there will be NO duplicated numbered files.

Play-load as usual. luck

wave Tally Ho.

Hi MaG
Your instructions did work but the new
files that were sent by Handsfree were not English
she did try to help. sometimes you just have to
let some games go. I'm sure it will not be the last.
Thanks again to all.

with words" Indroducir DVD" which does not
look like English. But as i said it didn't
work and I agsin really thank you for all your
trouble.

Hi pittston,

I have 32 saves for this game (English). Here are the descriptions

1 start, Witcherley gives you pyramid object
2 talking to Witcherley's father
3 searching Pawtuxet archives for info about Gregor Herschell
4 talking with town man - Blackfish
5 after talking with Witcherley, he seems strange/possessed
6 searching Witcherley's room at home
7 talking with man by town bar
8 searching Witcherley's bungalow
9 at home, talked to Eagleton, Witcherley is arrested at bungalow, now searching
bungalow
10 at home, talking with Eagleton
11 searching farm for evidence os Dr. Owen, found hidden door to underground tunnel
12 after solving door puzzle
13 found room in underground tunnel (last save for cd1)
14 maze with pits (if you fall, you die), must get to center of room
15 at the center of the room, picked up axe, must get back to room (see 13)
16 back in room (see 13) lit a torch and can see much better
17 in the lab, no lights
18 in the lab, after turning on boiler and generator, now lights on
19 before door with symbols puzzle
20 after door with symbols puzzle
21 in room with jars containing human remains, have ashes of Elias Levi
22 in spirit chamber, have placed Elias Levi ashes on pentagram on floor
23 loading this save will trigger a long cutscene with you talking to spirit,
talking to Eagleton, you shooting Witcherley. Now seach body.
24 after searching Witcherley's bungalow (basement)
25 talked to Eagleton, now at providence library
26 before map puzzle
27 after map puzzle
28 standing in open field before opening underground door puzzle
29 after opening underground door puzzle
30 after tunnel maze, before the sequnce of 3-doors puzzle (timed)
31 after timed puzzle, before the revolving gates maze
32 final timed puzzle, if you don't get it - demons inhabit the world, if you do get it -
the world remains in the same screwed up shape

If you can tell me about where you are (were) I will send you the saves.

Wow - Bomber! What a great collection of saves. If that doesn't inspire Pittston to go back to the game, nothing will.

Pittston - y'hear that? Give it another whirl. It's worth the aggravation.

Hi Chris,

The saves are on the way.

When I load the saves I sent you on my computer, I'm asked to insert CD2.
If you don't have cds then I don't know what will happen. If the saves
don't work, I suggest keep trying to get past the pits on your own.
It can be done! I've done it a few times, but not consistantly.

It takes three steps (clicks of the mouse) to get to the wall from the alter
in the center of the room.

The first step is not hard. Point your curser at the dimly lit doorway
where you entered the room. Now, move the curser slowly left. An arrow
will appear...then disappear...then appear again, now click. If you didn't
fall into a pit, that's one down, two to go.

The last two steps are much harder. All I can tell you is the second step
is left of the first. And the third is right of the second. But, if you try enough
times, you'll probably succeed.

Once you've reached the wall, you can light the torch, and then hug the
wall to the entrance.

Good luck!
