I did the first portion with Sam, then switched to the doctor. Have done everything I can find to do, but am stuck at 97% -- apparently I am missing a Psi component (26/32 status). I have done all he will do, did the sensory dep tank, checked the blue tiles, called the cop, housekeeper no longer has anything to say, etc. He is simply repetitive if I keep going over the ground again, looking for something else.

I finally gave up and checked a 'Boomers WT. I read it line by line, and although I did things in different orders than they are listed in the WT, I do not see anything I missed. Apparently there is a final cut scene with the students before I turn back into Sam again. I suspect that is the remaining Psi component.

What do I "do" to trigger that? Thanks!

A long shot - check your map and see which location is not gray colored yet. Then go to that place and talk, click on anything active and see if that works.

Um, well, there is only ONE location in the doctor's scheme of things this early in the game -- the house. He won't go anywhere else (except out to the garage, which I have done repeatedly). And since the item I need to do is at the house, it is still yellow.

Yes, that is what I did. I compared everything in both WTs. What I did notice in the other WT than yours was a phrase, "You must do (X) before doing (Y)." Of course, I read the WT after I had done the opposite of that advice. LOL That is why I am wondering if something in the game code is blocking my progress. As a last resort, I will take a look at the list of save games you mentioned. Thanks for that! Since I am at the end of this sequence, I won't "lose" anything.

OK, I think I will download one of the saves that ends the doctor's "Psi and Psi Again" sequence, because I cannot find anything I've missed, even by following the WT step-by-step.

I'm a bit confused though, because the game itself calls the natural separations in play "Chapters" and the Save Games are called "Days." Are these terms equivalent?

Chapter 3 is when the doctor first starts his portion of the game. All I am missing is a final, short cut scene that won't play, so Chapter 4 would past the block I have. From the first bit I read in the WT, he and Sam meet. So, would that be the save for "Day Four"?

A lot of gamers do experience difficulty on this spot.

I believe that is how the saved game linked above is separated: Chapters as Days.

The start of Day 4 or end of day 3 might work for you.
