After you light the lamp, then you can arrange the mirrors. You will see the overhead view of the room as shown by the solution. You then click on the mirrors (the lines spread in the room) and they will turn. Arrange them as shown by the pictured solution. I sent you a saved game for the first mirror puzzle. I do not have a saved game for the second one.

Robert, Walk the room. Stand close to the tomb and face the doorway. See if you can see and get from there to be at the left corner of the doorway where the jars are located.

After you enter the tomb, enter the right hallway. Then - Just go forward after entering that hallway and you will be in the scarab room. See the map below;

As I mentioned above - I thought you're playing Amateur. If you are playing Master; your puzzle should look like this: The solution for above Master is: Master: Top (L-R): Jackal and jackal. 2nd from top: Falcon, crocodile, lion, crocodile and falcon. 3rd from top: Crocodile, falcon, lion, beetle and beetle. Bottom row (L-R): Ibis and ibis. Hint: Do the 2nd and third rows first. Arrange the heads outside the squares (either above or below where you can position the heads - move up-down or left-right). Count the squares, spaces and then get the heads. Then position them at the squares. Now - your questions as to why it is 8x13 and the solution is 4 rows. Note that the puzzle is to place certain God's head inside certain boxes-squares in that 8x13 grid. Those movable squares are 4 rows at the center. I think those squares have heavy black lines surrounding them. In the solution above; those squares-boxes are surrounded by green lines. Tell me if you need more explanation.

Robert, I sent you the next saved game I have. This is after the Nefertari's children puzzle. Load it and then do this from the walkthrough.
Open the second coffin. It's empty!
Decode the papyrus scraps:
Take the torn papers from inside the coffin. Piece them together. Right click to rotate the pieces. After putting it together, translate the hieroglyphs. Learn that the true tomb is here.

Are you talking about this glyph? When you translate a glyph: - you can use the quick translate at top left and it should do it in one go. - or do it manually by deducing what the letters are missing. For example - you have a single glyph; that could either be I or A. Slowly deduce the letters.

This is from the walkthrough: Use the dictionary on the glyphs. Everyone who had been in this place, they are wretches. There is no remedy for them because I know their names. Beware. This is the taste of death. Darkness shall conceal them. Then the glyphs cannot be translated. So just do the one that I posted a picture above.

If what you're seeing is jumbled words then it sounds as if you're part way through solving the puzzle, but some of the letters are in the wrong places and need to be changed. Here's a YouTube video which might help -- it shows the solving of a number of hieroglyphs in the game, and perhaps the one you're stuck on is among them: Hieroglyph solves At the least it will show you the process of solving these type of puzzles.

It is that picture I posted above. Here it is again: The letters-words are the solution of the puzzle that you should place under the glyphs.

It is that passage that opened up earlier on left wall by the foot of the mummy. You went through there earlier to get to tunnel 2. The true tomb is at top right of the map below. The passage that opened up is the one going left from there.
