Hello,
Its 9/12/12!
Website says "The Five Cores will be available for download on this website via Paypal (credit card – no paypal account needed) and it will cost 6.99 euros (approximately 9 USD)."
Where is the link to buy?

I also checked and have not seen a link. I also checked at Steam and at their homepage - neebla games.

Update:

They posted this:

OK. But don’t say “this game will be released on 12th September”

Only have a chance to play five minutes (darn remodeling projects) but I must say that so far......I am in heaven. hearts

So far there seems to be unlimited screen resolutions for those who have wide screen format and so far it the controls are up arrow in conjunction with directing with the mouse and left mouse button to interact. Don't have time to play with the options but this first area seems to be HUGE for us exploration lovers.

Has anyone had any trouble buying the game? The site would not accept my credit card. (My credit card is is perfect order.) I then created a new paypal account. It wouldn't accept that either (same c.c.) I have emailed the website postmaster and await reply. Just wondering if anyone else had probs?

I used my PayPal and didn't have any problem at all.

Thanks, kjos.
I went back again, and for whatever reason (?) I was able to get the purchase to go through this time, download the game, and explore the island a little bit. It looks like it's going to be fun.

Looks like a good game, I've been walking allround the island and don't have any idea what I'm doing. Graphics are really nice.

Myself as well, kjos.

With no explanations at all (or 'read me' file), only a note at the beginning of the game, and little to interact with as of yet, it will be a challenge to figure out what the tasks are to complete. I managed to find some portals and ended up I don't know where, I think on another island. Found one book with crude maps of the island, but other books are still blank.

I clicked on several things and saw some active places that can't be clicked on just yet. Using only the arrow keys for navigation and no cursor on the screen (except for a hand that showed up a few times) is a bit awkward, but I'll get used to it. I didn't save my first trip around, as I can see that I need to write down lots of notes about what I saw, clicked and where it was. I managed to walk off a rock that I shouldn't have and the program got stuck and quit responding, needed to be shut down. So I need to be careful where I step when I start over. smile

Sounds like it's challenging. If anyone gets stuck, please post in Hints. If you've managed your way through, you may want to check in Hints if someone is stuck. thanks

I too just got it installed and wandered a bit. Solved a couple of nice puzzles. The clues are nicely presented so far (love the turning planets and what they represent). Little hint, save often as I've found myself stuck and not being able to move 4 time in 4 different spots.

For those who have found spots where they can't get out...try maneuvering around and pressing the "Space" bar as this will make you jump. Its worked for me a several occasion except for once when I fell into the ocean and couldn't get out. Could look up and see the surface but alas I could not reach it.

Thanks Greyfuss but I wish that had worked for me. At one point last night the elevator door would only open half way not allowiing me to exit. Saving often is still the best option and a small price for a subgenre of adventuring that I've sorely missed.

Thanks for that tip, GreyFuss!!
When unsuccessfully trying a ctrl+S for saving, I discovered that pressing the ctrl button also makes you jump.

Thanks.

There's a thread in the Glitches forum that mentions reinstalls. Are there a limited number of reinstalls?

I bought this game today. I was disappointed to see the keyboard movement, but I gt a tip from the JA forum that you can program your mouse buttons to the 'w' key. Now I'm using just the mouse to move.
I've toured the island a bit. I'm so excited to have a virtual environment to explore, I almost don't care if there is anything to do. I'm going to play this when I have enough time to make notes and maps. It's been so long since I've played a new Myst inspired game.
