There is no future Darleen. Dave will be closing his shop and he has limited copies.

You can order a copy from

http://www.game.co.uk/en/games/pc-games/

The boxed English version of the game is only being released in the UK. Which is common these days for most new releases. It will be available on or around October 12th.

One caveat: time of delivery is much slower and shipping costs are higher from the UK.

Dave is/was the last "reputable" and reliable vendors left in the US for UK imports (as far as I know and I have a huge collection and grab games in the box any way I can) There were a few in years past but they have all closed up shop. Dave was the last US and import games vendor standing. frown

Edit: I meant to say you can get both games at Game. Sherlock now, Secret Files 3 when the boxed version is released October 12th.

Here is another one who ships to the US and they are taking orders for SF3 as well.

I have never bought anything from them so I cannot say anything good or bad. Here is a link to their shipping info page.

Thanks for the info and the links, Laura and oldmariner. It's good to know there are other options with the loss of Interact, though nothing will be able to replace it.

Also, some games be available as imports from Amazon, and there's always E-Bay as well. Not as good as Interact, I know, but better than nothing.

I just received a response from that link above, Game Station. Shipping to the US is £4.95 or $8.01. A bit pricy, however based on the release history of Secret Files 1 & 2 you may be waiting a long time to see availability from a US store. The other option is to "rent" a download. We all know that when you download a game you can't trade it or sell it and more often or not the game is subject to getting their permission to use the thing. So a downloaded game is not yours. There was a narrowly reported news story a few days ago that told a court ruled a person who left hundreds of E-Books purchased through downloads could not leave them in his will to anyone. They belong to the publisher and his license to use expired at his death. Isn't that nice? Buy this stuff knowing you are only renting it. Ask yourself if a download cost the same as the disc version why rent it? If the download costs but a fraction of the disc perhaps renting it makes sense.
