Louise went into her bank to cash a cheque. She looked so hesitant that the cashier went to help her. 'Please sign the back of the cheque, 'the teller told her, 'as you'd sign a letter.

'Louise looked extremely grateful, scribbled on the cheque and passed it back to the cashier.

Signed on the back was: 'Yours affectionately, Louise.'

Spanish singer Julio Iglesias was on television with British TV host Anne Diamond when he used the word 'manyana'.

Diamond asked him to explain what it meant.

He said that the term means "maybe the job will be done tomorrow, maybe the next day, maybe the day after that. Perhaps next week, next month, next year. Who cares?"

The host turned to Irishman Shay Brennan who was also on the show and asked him if there was an equivalent term in Irish.

"No. In Ireland we don't have a word to describe that degree of urgency," replied Brennan.

Ole (Norwegian) and Sven (Swedish) went on a fishing trip to Canada and come back with only three fish.

Ole says, "The way I figger it, Sven, each of them fish cost us $400.

Well, at dat price it's a good ting we didn't catch any more of em than we did," says Sven.

I have to get up at 3:30.........or 3.3 in computer lingo, so I'm way past my bedtime.

I hope you all have a great day, and can remember it tomorrow.

Good morning Gameboomers! wave

Warmer today. Little cloudy. Must do laundry... zombie. Which means walking it down the street to the laundry room and hoping someone isn't using the machines. REALLY wish I had my own washer/dryer.

My cat kept waking me in the night. Some anxiety about her food bowl again, I think. Even though there was food in it she wanted fresh with some treats rolleyes catrub . I think she has me under her catpaw...

Enjoyed the jokes, Joe. Ana you may spend a lot of time in the naughty corner, but when you come out you do seem to have so much fun. Enjoy your dance. penguin

Manxman, Sue, Gerry, Venus, Connie, Darlene, wishing you all a productive Happy Thursday.

And a great Gaming Day to all! rah

manxman, have a great day!

Sue, I'll be needing that coffee!

Gerry, Are there fall colors by you yet?

Venus, have a great day!

Connie, I hope your best friend feels better.

Darlene, safe skooshing.

Sharon, I think you need to reprogram your kitties internal clock so you can get some sleep.
I love dancing and I love working out so this is a perfect way to get in both. It keeps me skinny. lol
I hope the laundry is free for you.

Have a great day everyone!

Thumping Good Thursday ya'll wave

We are on the countdown. Hubby home in 2 more days happydance

Son spent the night out last night so I have a completely quiet house today, as long as you discount having 4 dogs. But really, the dogs are all asleep so the only noise is the tv and me.

I'm going to clean a bit, cook the books a bit, and play a bit.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Lotus, the man dancing and talking is Nnanna and he is one of our class instructors. He will be there tonight to lead it. It's very energetic and exhausting. lol
I hope the doc appt goes well. hearts

L4L, when I am home alone with the dogs it is heaven. Enjoy!

Nan, I am getting close but when your computer gets tired every 15 minutes it's hard. I am barely scraping by.
I hope your appt goes well.
I wish you did live closer, we'd have a blast. It's fun to see the diversity of who takes the classes. Our oldest is 79 and he brings maracas and the youngest is teens. I love it!

This AM puppy and I walked up and down the neighbor's driveway -2 miles total, more or less- and guess what.....couldn't find my upscale dust cloth. I did notice a weathered plastic bag that is bluish and maybe that's it. I tried to pull it through the brush with a dead tree limb but couldn't......trash like that is annoying. My daughter, the 1 in Dallas can send me another. My children often times send me cleaning items. Why????

Groceries done and put away and I'm 150$ lighter. I won't tally the cost for the vegge lasagna..........just assume an anything goes attitude.

Lotus, a few years ago I grew those Howland pumpkins -I believe that's the name- anyway they were so big and bold and handsom I didn't harvest them and the next year there were pumpkins all over the garden.

Kitty is screaming for food but they don't even sniff the fancy feast anymore. What's a mother to do

guten abend und fantastic gaming
