Haunting At Cliffhouse, a gothic point and click adventure game, is finally complete. This was a 4 year project for me and I am so happy that it is complete and I am so happy with the results. I think you will be too. With so many games moving away from the traditional point and click adventure and going to casual, I think that Haunting At Cliffhouse has the best of both worlds. Looks good to me. I just purchased it. Love that it comes on a CD!!!

I could not get the music samples though. How do I do that? I downloaded them but they show as HTML even though I put All Files. Those are my only two choices.

The game is CD only right now. It will eventually go to download. I just haven't got there yet.

Isn't your address part of your PayPal account? Normally with PayPal a Seller can print out the postage right from their PayPal screen which should include your address.

I couldn't get the music samples to play, either. I got this message:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

Mary, did you try right clicking ad I think it's save as (or something similar)mp3 file? See my post in glitches - I can't remember exactly what it is but I did get it to play.

Mary, it says: "save target as" and I did that in IE9. Don't know what browser you're in but check the glitches thread regarding windows media player for a little more info.

I've been playing for a few days now and I have to say its a great game. A good old fashioned point and click, puzzle, adventure game.With a good storyline to boot. Right up my alley and Im sure most of you that play it will agree.

Can I ask about the movement in this game please. I recently bought Five Cores and Anna and I cannot play these for longer than five minutes at a time due to dreadful motion sickness..

What a great game I just installed it. The movement is really smooth. The cursor moves really nice. You can save anywhere. The puzzles can be skipped also. I received the game in two days.

no problem with that whatsoever. And I DO suffer from vertigo so I have a problem with alot of 1st. person games and movement.
Especially right now as Im having some problems and may need to get what they call the eplay maneuver done. ( scared of it ) Anyhoo This is just point and click and I can play it even now, with no problem.

I don't think I have vertigo as I only have a problem with games. It's happens when playing games where movement is very fast and there are lots of changes in direction. Within 5 minutes I feel hot, sick and really quite ill. Takes about half and hour rest to feel okay again. Weird!! It's got worse as I've 'aged'.
Hope the eplay maneuver works for you. (had to look this up,never heard of it)

Upsydaisy, there is only one puzzle where the movement is fast and that is on a ballroom mask matching puzzle. All puzzles are skippable though. All other movement is point and click and you can take it slow if you like it that way.

Sureshot, I am researching the best online place/shop to put the game but it seems slow moving right now. If I can't get it moving in a shop pretty soon, I'll be setting up my own download site but I'll still need a another place to handle the credit cards and stuff like that because I cannot be available 24/7. I would say no longer than a month.

Update - the game is now available in download format. I decided to go ahead and set it up on my own until I get some responses back from the shops. I spent some time researching who would handle the transactions the best way and am happy with the company I've found.
