A New York man was forced to take a day off from work to appear for a minor traffic summons. He grew increasingly restless as he waited hour after endless hour for his case to be heard.

When his name was called late in the afternoon, he stood before the judge, only to hear that court would be adjourned for the next day and he would have to return the next day.

"What for?" he snapped at the judge.

His honor, equally irked by a tedious day and sharp query roared, "Twenty dollars contempt of court. That's why!"

Then, noticing the man checking his wallet, the judge relented. "That's all right. You don't have to pay now."

The young man replied, "I'm just seeing if I have enough for two more words."

Good morning boomies. It was supposed to be storming but the sun is shining brightly. I actually had to look up todays weather forecast terminology because we are supposed to have "graupel" this afternoon. I had no idea what the heck to expect so I had to look it up inthe dictionary. lol In case you do not know they are snow pellets. duh

I'll be going to the chiropractor this morning and then if the weather holds out I will run with the dogs.

Gerry, I hope all is well by you.

Joe, don't work too hard. Are you happy your brother is moving back?

Haroula, hope your day is going great.

Sue, thanks for putting the coffee on.

Gail, have a happy day!

Midgie, happy birthday to your daughter. How is the ankle?

Venus, enjoy your day off.

Darlene, hope you are feeling all better today.

I put Castelvania back on the PS3 and if I can get past that big meaney I just might buy Cstlvna 2. I didn't know Castlvn series goes back to 1986. What a legacy also didn't know they are vampires. Gosh what I've missed.

Hi Ana wave My ankle is just about the same but I'm going to a pain clinic( Boston Pain Clinic) to see if there is anything else I can take. I'm in their system but I have to see 3 more doctors before I can settle into their program. Alot of paperwork. I'm not very hopeful but at this point I'll try anything. Thanks for asking Sweetie. Darlene I can't believe Pam is 47. She won't read this so I can tell you. She's very busy going to nursing school. I'm very proud of her.

I have to go to work now. See you when I get home. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Good evening Gameboomers!

Had a bad night last night and slept most of the day. Feeling much better. I dreamed I went for a run and I could feel my legs running and it wasn't even hard. Does that count toward exercise? lol

Hope all had good days and good gaming.

Nope, no meany yet -he's waitingwaitingwaiting..........Actually I'm having a fit with his little sister, the giant spider. I subdue her and I can jump on her back like I'm supposed but she keeps flipping me off. Maybe tomorrow. The scenery in this game is outstanding.

It's getting dark and cold -supposed to be 42 tonight and that's cold for us right now. Soon it will be a 4 cat nighty-nite. They sure are warm. No Doom in the mailbox today -maybe tomorrow.

Enjoy your evening

I am here to attest that running in your sleep definitely counts as exercise. (heh, heh). Ana is your sister younger or older than you? You cracked me up about the cleaning fairy.

OK. I'm just gonna relax for a little while, then I have to start looking for my pillow.

I'm the baby in our family too Ana. yes

Number 3 out of 6, but still the baby. pacify lol

Hello everybroomie.

So it (my day) was about 6 hours of cutting up with a chainsaw, and then picking up limbs, and leaves, and burning them until I was wickedly tired, and then a little trip to town. tired

Sister and BIL are going back home again tomorrow.

I......am staying. rolleyes

Some day I will escape Oklahoma, and run away to some exotic country, like South Dakota or Montana.

Although I hear the cost of living is higher there, because the average trip to the grocery store is 300 miles round trip. shocked

Not many trees there, but that's ok. I actually prefer living some place where nobody can sneak up on me. Like my siister. snicker

Alrighty then, I'm off to start on a nuther one. happydance

think I may do two at once and get Saturday's out of the way while I'm at it.

Enjoy your evening everyone.

joe
