Morning walk report on sidewalk progress. BOTH streets are in a state of flux. First one is now done with sidewalks and starts on the actual asphalt street on Monday. Today they delivered two HUGE vehicles, a 'steam roller' and a monster asphalt chopper grinder thingy that will 'eat' up the entire street and put it in dump trucks. Then they will dig out, level, grade the dirt, tamp it down, pour in sand, then gravel, the new asphalt. Gonna be fun to watch. Somehow, the normal 'parkers' have managed to almost clear the street which will be totally off limits to traffic for several days. Wow. Looks like maybe they might do it like ours was, one lane open, one direction and do half the street at a time. Will have to see.

Other street, just starting, I was amazed to see that out of 27 vehicles which were all over the left side (now marked no parking) only EIGHT remained! I have no idea why they couldn't do that all the time instead of every junk vehicle parked all over the road. Geeeeeez! Everyone has long driveways, plenty of room for all the vehicles it seems now that they heeded the signs. Gonna start installing new phone poles and removing old ones on Monday too. Lots to watch.

Cortisone shot in back from I think June, is wearing off. Starting to get cramping and scarier yet, I was lying on the couch, got up to get something to munch on and my right leg (the affected side) refused to move. Uhhuh. Scary. I finally figured out it was from a spasm on the inner side. No power to that leg. I'm going to have to check with doc on that NEW development. Never had anything like that happen.

Well our little corner of the world is a whole lot nicer now!! The pizza was delish!! Yummmmmmmmy.

Home now and tired. Took Sassy fo a nice long walk and now going to settle in and watch some shows that I taped earlier in the week.

L4l hope the play was fun and everybody loved the tacos!! May it be quiet enough for you and hubby to WoW!!

Ahhhh dinner done. Back is screaming so time to sit and surf for a bit.

The play was fun. "Huck Finn" was super in his role, and the rest were enjoyable. "Aunt Polly" was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too young to play that role though which is my one criticism of the play.

Now off to do some WoWing though I do believe that bed time is going to come earlyish. I am 3/4 of the way through Gone Girl and would like to finish it this weekend.

I spent the day over at Mom's. Where else?

Went head hunting with Baby. Found none.

Walking back to the house I was met by my brother. He came down from Texas. Where else?

It was a much warmer day today. Mid 80s, but thye wind was whipping it up making it feel pretty good.

Little brother and I went down to the creek to look around. Since I had my big rubber boots on I was trying to make a crossing for my brother to get across the creek "dryly", and I slipped, and took a tumble into the not so warm water.

As I get older I get more and more comical. Very funny.....

Joe, I took my sister and the dogs to the river and she went head hunting. She took home about ten rocks that were clearly not arrow heads but she insisted they could be. She made me smile.

I am exhausted, it's been a full, fun, family filled day. I am home now and ready to relax.

Ahhh, Soot and I have been vanquishing the enemy with style, and now it's time for bed. Son says we are putting the zoo off til next week so tomorrow will be quiet...sorta.
