Lately I've been working on getting rid of my excessive worry/fear/anxiety for about a week now since receiving this book ***here*** and already, I'm beginning to make progress as evidenced ***here*** . In the past before working thru this book (it has 15/16 chapters, I'm just beginning Chapter 14 as of this evening) I would have imagined that the worst had happened concerning the JA website (first several lines of my post in my thread about JA) and would have gotten myself (as well as other family members) very upset and angry.

But I thought of other reasons that this issue with JA could be happening and I was able to rapidly regain my calmness, all without upsetting anyone.

What are your comments regarding this, friends?

I am glad you are finding new ways to cope with your anxieties.

Just checked on my JA thread (referred to in my original post, this thread) and sure enough, what that "Anxiety book" has taught me so far really works.

With the added input from GF in that thread, I'm starting to see for myself that how wrong my anxiety-ridden thoughts (thinking that the worst in a given situation) are, and if they are wrong, aren't they also false (I'm starting to think they are, indeed, false)?

Are there any people here at GB who've struggled (and suffered) with anxiety such as mine, and if so, may I please hear of your experiences and how you guys overcame it for good?
