Just began playing this-Collector's Edition, and have checked the blog WT. At the cottage, the WT says to use the metal bar/rod from the fence on the door knob. The picture in the WT shows the door with a round door knob. The door in my game has a lever type handle. I've used the bar on it repeatedly to no avail. What to do?

You use the metal bar between the door and the frame in order to open the cottage door. Are you sure you are standing in front of the cottage door rather than the door of the lighthouse? wave

Maybe I am at the light house...not sure. The lighthouse appears to be behind...the cottage in front? I'll go back and try again! Thanks, Marian.

I wasn't at the cottage! Oops! Finally found it and got in. Hate the morphing things. Too time consuming...Thanks again, Marian.

New challenge...the rag is not in my inventory. It shows up in the Journal, but I can't access it. Need it to open the car's hood. Where might it be?

Looking at the walkthrough, it shows the rag as being located under the bridge where you solve a morphing object scene. The rag is located near the sign that is lying on the ground and sticking out over the water. wave

This is a really creepy game...Not getting the DNA puzzle. The numbers I have are 314..actually there are two 4s, if I uncover both Ns. Not sure what do do. It seems impossible to line up correctly.

I found this on the Big Fish forum, written by Margie B; does this help?

Click to reveal..

• Return to the hallway and go into the left room.

• Zoom into the plastic funnel; insert the 4 RED PILLS into the funnel.

• Look at the certificate of birth the automaton is holding; raise the tabs behind the letters DNA and make a note of them since the numbers are random.

• Return to the nursery and go into the back room.

• Zoom into the device; fix the sliding dials so the numbers fall on the lines you believe fall into the numbers you found in the room. The low numbers are on top and the highest numbers are at the bottom.

• Zoom into the gauges on the left; verify the numbers you set on the device are correct, if they are not, re-set the dials on the DNA device.

• Once the gauges are in the right spots, click on the small green button in the upper left for a baby to fall into the basin.
