I just threw this on for an alternative while I'm finishing up Grimrock and hava a couple of questions about the movement controls on a PC with keyboard/mouse.

It's possible to walk up to a doorway or hatch and press the right mouse key for a gentle push, but is there any way to actually open doors in this game?

Also, I keep seeing a "grab" icon but have never actually been able to grab anything or anyone. Is it possible to pick things up in this game, or is the grab strictly an action move in combat or while moving around? Not that I've seen anything to pick up, but there might be later on.

Edit: I meant to add that this is pretty cool, though I'm having trouble learning the interface, which is pretty complicated. Somewhere along the line I bought several of the AC games on Steam and on GOG so I'll be hopping for a while.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Hi Hagatha.

As far as I cam remeber, doors should be able to open if you click on the E-ke, maybe the A-key?

It's been a while since I played this game...I agree, though, it is a pretty good game.

Adventure gaming is fun smile

It's different, that's for sure, and it's playing beautifully. Nice graphics and smooth movement. Love the swan dives into haystacks.

I'm having trouble breaking out of combat, though I'm really trying not to get into combat situations in the first place. I'm never sure if a battle is scripted as part of the game, or is the result of fumbling a mission. My only gripe is the lack of ability to make game saves but I suppose they are somewhat irrelevant in a game where you get an autosave when you hit any sort of achievement. Anyway, on I go.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
