The teacher of the school geography class was lecturing on map reading.

After explaining about latitude, longitude, degrees and minutes the teacher asked:

"Suppose I asked you to meet me for lunch at 23 degrees, 4 minutes north latitude and 45 degrees, 15 minutes east longitude...?"

After a confused silence, little Johnny volunteered - "I guess you'd be eating alone!"

A mother and her young son returned from the grocery store and began putting away the groceries.

The boy opened a box of animal crackers and spread them all over the table.

"What are you doing?" his mother asked.

"The box says you can't eat them if the seal is broken," the boy explained, "so I'm looking for the seal!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A little boy was in a relative's wedding. As he was coming down the aisle he would take two steps, stop, and turn to the crowd (alternating between bride's side and groom's side). While facing the crowd, he would put his hands up like claws and roar loudly.
So it went, step, step, ROAR, step, step, ROAR all the way down the aisle.
As you can imagine, the crowd was near tears from laughing so hard by the time he reached the front. The little boy, however, was getting more and more distressed from all the laughing, and was near tears by the time he reached the pulpit. When asked what he was doing, the child sniffed and said, "I was just being the Ring Bear!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The teacher asked little Johnny if he knows his numbers.

"Yes," he said. "I do. My father taught me." "Good. What comes after three." "Four," answers the boy.

"What comes after six?" "Seven."

"Very good," says the teacher. "Your dad did a good job. What comes after ten?"

"A Jack."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This one little boy in about 4th or 5th grade was trying out for a school play. He earned a part and went home to tell his father.
His father was really proud of him. So his father asks what part did you get?
He replies I got the part of a man who has been married for 25 years.
His father congratulated him. And then he said "That's good son, maybe next time you'll get a talking role!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Little Johnny was in the garden filling in a hole when his neighbor peered over the fence.

Interested in what the cheeky-faced youngster was doing, he politely asked, "What are you up to there, Johhny?"

"Well, my goldfish died," replied Johnny tearfully, without looking up,"and I've just buried him."

The neighbour was concerned, "That's an awfully big hole for a goldfish, isn't it?"

Johnny patted down the last heap of earth then replied... "That's because he's inside your cat!"

Good morning everyboomie.  wave

Break's over, back to work untill next Wednesday. I can hardly contain my excitement. My feet are tingling all under. rolleyes

What are you all excited about today? happydance

Maybe I can help you contain your excitement. I have some experience.

All my life I've had to contain my excitement.................or, was it to hold my water?..... think

I don't think they're the same. I'm just not so good at holding my water.

As a matter of fact I think I'll most likely lose my water any number of times before Friday. oops

I don't even like holding my water. It's very heavy.

It's like when someone says to you, "get a hold of yourself man!" blush

Right!

Every time I do that, people look at me like I belong in a psyche ward. crazy

They're like, "We're going to leave you alone now." slapforehead

Have a happy day everyone.

COLD. Ugh. Nobody told me that the temps overnight would be in the FORTIES! Amazing. Rarely gets this cold here. Have the wall heater on for the indoorsie cat, Bubba who is hugging the arm of the sofa near it. He's cold too. Gonna warm up to 70's today so it's only temporary. Must be the snow in the mountains blowing our way with a cold Santa Ana.

Have to check with my Kaiser medical stuff today. Wrote doc an email asking for a prescription refill LAST Monday and have not heard a thing. Weird. Even if he's on vacation, the nurse or another doctor monitors the email. Then I decided to just email the pharmacy for the refill (who always writes back that they have to check with the doc for this medication). So that was 3 days ago and still no confirmation of refill. I wonder if Kaiser closed and forgot to tell everyone? rotfl

Good Munday morning all.

We had 26 also, Ana. But the sun is shining, so that is good. We got an inch of rain yesterday and last night.

We just got back from taking Cory for his walk. My nose got cold. lol Going to make a pot of spaghetti for dinner tonight. Will put some in the NC. Crusty garlic bread with it. Better yet, if I get ambitious, will make some bread in the breadmaker. Bill has been after me to make some. If I get the bread flour out of the freezer and put it on the counter, then maybe I will remember to make it.

I think I may download that puzzle game on Game Giveaway of the Day. Something different and maybe it will help my brain. lol

Have a great day.

Bets

Oops, too late for the game.

Morning; for 2 nites the temp was below 20. This morning is pouring rain. Go figure.
Not a lot planned except for this morning's coffee and crossword puzzle of course then home to consider the day. Always best to do a bit of gaming while considering....

Wishes to all for a great day.

Happy Mundane my friends kissy

Back in Switzerland since yesterday late night.
About the break-in: The gardeners who wanted to start the olive harvest last Tuesday found the entrance door open and inside was everything wet from the rain and fog. They alerted the police and called us in Switzerland and we jumped into our car and drove the 8 hours to Italy in a frenzy. My husband and I were very sad and emotional and the 8-hours-drive in this condition was a bit dangerous. We arrived and found the damage on the aluminum shutters and the entrance door, and they first damaged the burglar alarm (ha!) with a fast-reacting hardener. It was a complete mess. Since we never have valuable things and no money in the house, they found nothing of value and so they took instead things like five pullovers, a hat, Swiss Knives, a thermos flask, my hairdryer, a bath towel and a looking glass. It’s ridiculous actually. So much damage for so cheap goods. I’am still completely confused and for hubby and me the emotional damage, you know, that somebody violated your personal life, is much bigger than anything else. Unfortunately the police will never catch the thieves. There are too many doing this kind of “business” and when they catch one, they have to let them go again because there is not enough space in the prisons. This is a lost country, I tell you. So many youngsters who are unemployed and of course they want to have their mobile phones nonetheless and their design cloth and everything, so they go steal it. It’s such a sad time.

Going to bed now and I hope I will be happier tomorrow. Don't want to spoil your day with my misery.... crazy

Oh I could have needed this guy all right sherlock
rotfl
See you tomorrow. LOVE!!

Evelyne

Oh the mundaneness of it all. Been busy as usual around here. Stormed all night but the wind should let up late this afternoon. It hasn't been bad but most likely a reminder of what is to come. I don't like winter. I'm sad because Evelyne is sad. Such a rotten thing to happen. Well, I'm off to flirt with more pumpkins. I so wish I could share some of this bounty. Happy Gaming everyone! wave

Both errands are done and now trying to make myself walk the dogs. It's so cold and windy, but I know I need to buck up and do it anyways. lol

Lotus, you really have a full time job harvesting!

Evelyne, I am so sorry. I feel your pain. Amazing how they were able to shut off the alarm. I am glad you did not have anything of great value, but dealing with the emotions is the most difficult. hearts

Trippy, a rainy day is perfect for gaming! Hope you and the pups are feeling better.

L4L, maybe you and soot can run away somewhere fun today!

Bets, the GGOTD are only on the weekends. Sorry you missed it. I love homemade bread. Enjoy your day.

I'm so sorry Evelyne. I know how you feel. My house was robbed years ago and I still feel the cringes when I look at certain areas that 'they' touched and things that they took which I miss. Worst thing is they used MY toilet. Ugh! Not enough Lysol in the world to make it feel clean again.

Hope all works out for you and the damages are able to be repaired. Hopefully you won't have the experience I did when I had to confront one of the guys in court and had his defense attorney accuse ME of having an affair with his client! Was a surrealistic day for sure.

Wish people would realize how awful their victims feel, but I don't think they have consciences. mad
