Is it me or what has changed about adventure games? For a while I thought the genre was dying or at least slowing down. However, I think the developers are embracing the XBox platforms and other platforms but also seem to be including the PC platform. What am I missing? There seems to be a lot more games available, especially when I check out the up and coming releases.

Like anything else, there are ups and downs. I am happy to see we are on an upswing.

The game industry had almost forgotten the Adventure genre, true. If they're back in force, it's all due to the development of new platforms which encouraged indie developpers !

Simon -- that's intriguing. I'm curious as to which platforms have been encouraging and why.
