Thanks for the 'thoughts' auntiegram. I am actually feeling slightly better. I listened to my neighbor and she suggested that my 'cough and loss of voice' might be due to taking medications that dry out the head and throat. I think she is right. Gonna lay off the antihistimines and Nyquil/Dayquil until I see if the voice gets better. I think it is. Managed to talk for 15 minutes with her as we watched all the fun at the empty house across the street. (Update on Finally Some Action). It's getting so good over there.

Good afternoon boomies! I got up and went to the club for an early Zumba class. I really needed that after yesterdays feast. I am now back in the corner for the rest of the day.

Hello my dear friends!

I see, all of you enjoyed the turkey yesterday. I'am as ignorant as Haroula: why is it called black Friday? Please enlighten us andthankyouverymuch.

My week was a very busy one and I hope next week will be more relaxed, so I can come to the diner more often.

I'am wave goodbye now. See you tomorrow. Have a lovely day.

Evelyne

Aha, Gimli, a great question about Black Friday. It's named because it's a huge shopping day that is supposed to start off the Christmas buying frenzy and it refers to profits for the stores. "In the Red or In the Black" as it refers to balancing the books in a business. Red is negative balances or losses and Black is profit. The stores hope to get a load of sales to offset what might have been a lean year for profits. Usually it's just a day to whip people into a buying frenzy and make them spend more than they can afford. I avoid the day and wait until just before Christmas when stores are eager to get rid of stock. Sometimes find some great deals near the end.

Hi boomies. I'm finally settling in. Rob and his friend brought my new love seat in today. It's beginning to feel like home now. No curtains up yet but I have blinds so there's no problem with privacy. Man I love this apartment. Rob has one more load of stuff to bring here sometime next week. I'm gonna do something special for him. I just need to come up with something good.

Evening, just been a laid back, lazy day. Now for a laid back lazy eve.

Midgie, glad the move went well and that you like it. Is it larger than what you had? Is it a large apartment complex?

Will wish all a great start to the week end.

Hello everybody. wave

I've had a great day, and a great evening. Looking forward to a great night to cap it off. yay

Work was very busy. We had customers waiting for us to open at 5:00 and we were hopping all day, but I saw that Walmart was not that busy at all. Last year Walmarts parking lot was packed at 4:00am. I know they had their big thing last night. yes

How's everyone in Boomerland? happydance

Doing well I hope. wink

Hey Trippy wave It's a little smaller than where I was but the sacrifice is well worth it. In size the apartment I came from was 1000 sq feet and this is just under 900. I don't care . It is a very large apartment complex. Many bulidings. It's realy beautiful here.

Night all. It's been a very busy day. I hope you all had a good day. See you in the morning. I don't have to work until 5:00 tomorrow evening.

Off to bed to snuggle with Sassy. It's only 13F out there but feels like 3. We got about 4 inches of snow but it is hard to tell with all the blowing and drifting.

Night all sleep well and pleasant dreams.
