You solve these Word Ladders by changing one letter in the first word to form a new word and then repeat the process until you spell the ending word. The number of letter-change moves it took me is in brackets...can you do it in less? Example: To change Mice into Rats I made 4 moves... mice - 1-> mi te - 2-> m ate - 3-> mat s - 4-> rats = 1. hot dog [2] = 2. far out [3] = 3. ball park [3] = 4. pool side [6] = 5. play date [7] = 6. flat rate [7]
