Good Morning Boomers and a chill one it was earlier. Sounds like everyone is very busy and so are we. Battening down the hatches for another round of storms and hoping the winds are less than last time. Hubby almost has south side of his shop done so that is good as the storms come from the south mostly. Most of my Christmas shopping is done...now the fun of wrapping which I am not so good at. Family company arriving midweek just in time for the weather. My Mum hopes they will have to say longer due to the liklihood of flooding south of us on Hwy. 101. She is so funny. Well I see I have missed the morning compleatly. Been busy, busy!! Start one thing and that leads to another thing which in turn leads to even something else and the first one didn't get done till last.

Afternoon; had a store run to make this morning. Did wake to 27 degrees but sun is out and is now up to 42.

What a long week end it was; my little town was like a ghost town, actually worse since I couldn't even find any ghosts....

My day was busy at work, although we didn't get in until 5:30 this morning because of no manager showing up. Oops!!

I left at 1:30 and went to Mom's and over to the hill and dug around to find THIS .

I also found a big chunk of FLINT.

I had to give it up because my back was giving out. Also a cold front blew in. I thing Ana sent it this way.

It got very cold.

Well, 1st full day at home and it's kinda quiet but housework done, laundry too and gamegamegame. Black ops 2 has some good battle missions. It's a good shooter.

Nan, that 40 plus car pile up was in Beaumont, Texas and that's southeast of us. What a way to start the holidays. I believe in west Texas you can go 85 mph and 18 wheelers can go 70 mph on our highways -that's too fast.
