Find my bunch of brats in the answers to these clues. They're all pretty IMPish.

-1. stalemate (7)
-2. be thrifty (6)
-3. facilitate (8)
-4. kettledrums (7)
-5. this flower (9) Gail ingeniously said "impatiens" before I even posted a picture which fits the original clue. What does this picture actually show? There's a famous scarlet one
-6. a low intermittent sob (7)
-7. showing great emotion (11)
-8. characteristic of Vlad and the Shrike bird (7)
-9. images on a double exposure for example (11)
-10. compress into small folds or ridges (5)
-11. without doubt or question (8)

Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?

Hi Cue.

If you can't dance, don't blame the dance floor.

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.

Yep, they can't hide from you. grin wave

Gail, great answer! Sorry I didn't have the actual picture posted. I hate when I do that. I accepted your answer but am leaving this open for you or anyone else that wants to answer what the picture shows.

To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self.

Yes! wave

We've almost found them all. Just the one left now. It's lurking there. Left another bit of a hint.
