You can download Christmas Stories: Nutcracker Collector's Edition here. A classic Christmas tale tail, with a whole new twist! Help the Nutcracker rescue the princess from the evil Rat King in this memorable hidden-object puzzle adventure game.
You might be too late for the Christmas Ball, but you're just in time for adventure! The Nutcracker needs your help, and there's an army of rats running rampant through the kingdom. Luckily, a few cute little sidekicks have got your back. Uncover the Rat King's evil plot - and find out what created the toothy little monster.
This Collector's Edition includes a bonus game that tells the story of your agile sidekick and his super band of feline fellows.

I was ROFL because I realized I had spoken too soon when, not too far into the demo, I ran into a door that had red eyes, so I guess we just can't escape them.
It's definitely a buy for me, though, because I not only enjoyed the demo, but I need 4 more punches to complete another punch card, and I just looked at the calendar and noticed I only have 2 days to do so.

I needed a couple punches on my card since I actually bought a couple games this month so I bought this sight unseen based on your reviews. I'm looking forward to playing it.

I bought this too. I do enjoy the spooky games, but felt this would be great to get me in the mood for the holiday season.

Hi I wonder if anyone has had this problem with this game. I am onto chapter 6. No problems at all. Closed game last night, came today to start again, and it wants me to start from the beginning again. I was really enjoying this beautiful game, but I really do not want to start it all over again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Sam

Jeanne, did you start the demo again with a new player profile? I'm also wondering if the demo would behave in the exact same way as the full-version game would. You might want to look into this problem with Big Fish Customer Support. Thank you for mentioning the update. Update was announced as follows: We have a new PC version available for Christmas Stories: Nutcracker Collector's Edition!
This new version helps fix those profile corruption issues.
That update is available in the Game Manager or by uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
If you've already seen the profile corruption message you'll need to start a new player profile. If there has been no error then the new build should be compatible.
Hopefully this new build will help samson, who was having the same problem.

Hi I have contacted Big Fish and they have given me a game credit. They would also like me to get Felix to sort it out, but as I am not very good at sorting that side of things out I was wondering about the update. I have not had the profile corruption message so can you tell me how I go about the update, and will it start from when I finished. I would so like to finish this lovely game.Thanks Sam

I finished this game the other night. Beautiful graphics, pleasant music, enjoyable story and some extra items to hunt for during gameplay. Love the map and the achievements.

uh having an issue trying to do something really simple in the first part of the game, I have literally just started and having an issue..LOL I can't figure out how to use the screwdriver on the darn cabinet door...HELP

I cant find the walkthrough for it, but I did look at the strategy guide, it just says to use the screwdriver on the screws on the handle. But I can't seem to make it work, I play these games all the time and have never run across this problem of not being able to make it do what the guide says. I wondered if I missed something so I went back on the guide and I did not see anything I had missed! Thanks for the answer and suggestions, this is gonna be a cool place to be I think!

Not sure if this helps, but depending on the game, sometimes you have to put the tip of the cursor where you want to use it, other times you put the object where you want to use it Does this make sense? Well hope you work it out.
