Try your hand at these brain-busting trivia questions. Remember, please, that you may not google or use any reference sources for the first 24 hours of this thread. -1. In the Disney version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the wicked Queen falls off a precipice and dies. How does she meet her end in the original Grimm brothers fairy tale? -2. What was golfing great Ben Hogan's famous reply when he was asked how to improve one's game? -3. What was the name of the church to which comedian Flip Wilson's character Reverend Leroy belonged? -4. How did secure, relatively high-yielding stocks come to be called blue chips? -5. What floral symbol do the state of Kansas and the country of Peru have in common? 6. What is the largest desert in Europe? -7. In Japan, what automobile part is known as a bakkumira? -8. What elaborate confection was inspired by St. Bride's Church in London? -9. Which of U2's songs is a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr.? -10. What is the most plentiful element in seawater (other than oxygen and hydrogen)?

Cue, that's right! Guess that's where the word Bride came from, too. The tiered spires were created by Christopher Wren. manxman, it's so funny! Jarkeld, good guess, but not correct. Just in case, I'm going to double-check my source. Note: source checked and question fixed

Sorry Pandora that's all I got. I know that seawater is salty and my creaky old brain came up with sodium and the knowledge ends there.

Looked it up...
4. From poker chips. Blue is traditionally the highest value chip above red and white. Originally blue chip referred to high valued stocks. Eventually that morphed into stable stocks.
Bob As I've grown older, I've found that my memory is not as good as I used to think it was.

Yes to both! Well done! The question that's left is a tricky one.
