I have had this game since it first came out and for the most part it works until I get to the chapel. I get on the roof and spell out Sirdach but the roof doesn't open. Is there something I can do or is it possible that the game has finally died?

Try playing in compatibility mode. That helped me progress in the game. Good Luck!

Thanks, Gerry.

If it isn't a technical issue then it might be that you've missed an action along the way, maybe? think

Here's a checklist from Tally Ho's walkthrough up to that point:

Checklist for Day Three:

Office: Take dagger and Observatory key
Observatory: Take Files and Raven from cabinet
Send Three telegraph/faxes
Receive acnowledgement

Operate Holograph according to instructions in Files
Receive three faxes
Office: Take Chapel Key

Chapel: Break key; find rope and grapnel; combine.
Climb on roof; solve Sirdach puzzle

luck

Great that you managed to solve the problem! I like this game too, although it's been a long while since I played it.

Tsv I can't remember how the inventory works but are you able to move across the inventory or up and down in the inventory to see if the hose is on the next page? Or maybe the inventory is full?

It's definately not full. The inventory is set up like a square with items inside in their own little boxes. I would just go to the square with the hose, but there is no hose, now what?

Is it with the wheelbarrow, which you should have picked up at the same time? The two items might be used together but you only see the wheelbarrow in inventory. Looking at walkthroughs for the game, the hose is only mentioned in conjunction with the barrow. Try and continue and see what happens.

I put the diving stuff in and it all worked! I also found that if you go to inventory when you run out of air it won't kiil you off.

I remember having "LOTS" of fun under water in this game. But all in all I really enjoyed it.
