I found no way to restart the game via a menu option. When I wanted to play a new game, I had to uninstall the game and re-install it again. That is one of the weaknesses in the game.

Yes, always install the game first, and then the patch.

Be sure to unzip the patch file before using it.

Then move it where Callista indicates:

When asked for the destination, use the path where the Louisiana.exe file is located.

Thanks Rushes, I checked Callista's post & she didn't indicate where to move it to.

I think wherever the main exe file is, that's the place to put it. So search for the game folder itself, then inside that, look for a file named "Louisiana.exe" and place the patch in that location.
