There's even a thread, where you can list your in-game name for newcomers to add as friends, if they need help playing.

Most newcomers, that post on the forum to say hi, can't believe, they didn't try the game earlier. Says a little about the freshness and quality of the game

Of course it has bugs and whatnot as all new MMO's has - but it's worth mentioning, that Funcom has spewed out a new content EVERY month up til now.
They have in fact enough new content made already for the next 6 months - if not more.

Then there's the Issues (DLC's) - we're up to #5 now already... just awesome....

About the bugs - funcom staff regularly go on the forums and post/reply to stuff people are concerned about. They have even changed a few things, because people were not pleased with stuff.

Example:
Subscribers get - among a few free items - 1200 Bonus Points($10) every month to be used for the new Issue/DLC(so you sort of get it for free instead of buying it from the store).
Some thought that was not a big enough incentive to become a subscriber - what did they do?
They declared they would add Veteran Rewards also.. not sure what it is yet - but it shows, they listen

It's great when companies pay attention and respond to their customers.

How is this going to be affected by the closure of Funcom?

Funcom is NOT closing - it wont' affect TSW at all.

Well shucks, I went ahead and did a small little install of TSW.

Am now helping the sheriff of that Qaint little town in america, the port one. You know what I mean if you have started it , to deal with a strange fog & a BIG zombie problem

I am a sucker for good stories, this one just might fit the bill.

Way different than Guild Wars.

Well I seem to be playing TSW a'lot.

Pretty step learning curve,still learning stuff.

The story keeps pulling me in for computer time.Puzzels can be difficult to hair pulling.

Went to savage coast, and had to go back & do some leveling up.

Can be a,little buggey some times. nothing to bad though.

Have not did the dungeon in Kingsmouth yet. Supposed to be good drops in there.

I like the effort that went into makeing this game though.

Savage coast ,some guy started following me & said he was going to help me out,I did'nt know who he was & chicken-bleeped out.

Sorry to who ever that was. I was'nt leveled up enough anyway.


Love the settings in the game.
