Very sad news. Another adventure game developer and publisher dies...

I guess it is good news that the developer of Dreamfall Chapters has been spun off, though without Funcom as backer the project's future may look bleak.

This should not affect Dreamfall since Ragnar took the license as Carla posted Here.

Still sad news though.

That good to hear Ana, I'd like to see Dreamfall
make it to completion.

They are not dead at all. They are down-sizing. Rumor is likely their Montreal studio may be closed. But that leaves them Norway, the US etc.

According to the announcement, Funcom will come out of the restructuring "better equipped to realize the strategy of building high-quality MMO games,"

So, Funcom is still very much in business at the moment.

Let's hope the restructuring keeps them going strong, as it has for other game developers/publishers this last year.

Whew! Was concerned there for a minute. Glad to hear Chapters is still on schedule, and hope Funcom's restructuring helps them move forward.

Helena: Where are these mangoes?
