Hi, fellow Boomers,
I'm presently playing the Kairo DEMO. I'm trying to figure out WHICH musical floor tiles to step on in order to unlock the door of the tall building. This scenario is right at the beginning of the demo (1st puzzle). Can anyone help me solve this puzzle? I would appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much, Chief. I just discoverd that The part I was playing was NOT actually the BEGINNING of the demo until I chose (from the menu), "Start a new game". Now that I'm at the actual START of the demo, the link to the WT you just sent me is starting to make sense to me. I appreciate the helping hand.
Could it be possible that there will be a Chief\Mag WT in my gaming future? If you are taking that as a hint, you would be SO correct. LOL

I just purchased and downloaded the FULL version of "Kairo". I have played it from the beginning ("Start a new game"). Each time I quit the game and then start it again, it doesn't "restore" at the same place at the time I quit previously. Are any of my fellow Boomers having the same experience that I'm having? I would appreciate your input on this matter. Thanks
Sandy

Sandy, I didn't have this problem, so my suggestion may not be appropriate.

If you are not to far from the beginning, maybe a "Start a New Game" will correct this.

I just decided to replay the game and started with "Start a new game".

I played some and quit. I then clicked on the Kairo icon to go on with the game and found the same place I just quit from just before.

I verified if hitting the Escape key to get the main menu and press "Return to Game" would bring me back to where I was and it did.

Good luck.

Taking a chance to ask this if someone played until the end of this game.

So, I'm at the very end in what the WT says it is the Gray City.

We must pass under three gateways and enter a shape on a large black door.

One of the shape is a triangle and I beleive I tried all possible ways to draw it, but can't open the door.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Thanks, Chief. I'm glad you haven't had the SAVE problem that I'm having. I'll give it another shot and I'll see what happens.

Beleive or not, I made that triangle and went through the black door. winter

The triangle is made by connecting dots (in a pattern of 3 at top, 3 in the middle and 3 at the bottom):

One dot at the top (middle) and only use the 2 external dots at the bottom. The middle dot at the bottom is not to be use.

CHIEF, I'm sure glad that you finally beat the "Triangle" puzzle, and also thanks for passing along the hints needed to do it.
As far as my "saves" problem, it seems that my hunch was correct. That is: The best time to quit the game is at the point at which you JUST enter a new room. If you start to do the puzzles in the new room and THEN quit, when you start to play the game again, the previous save begins at the point that you entered that room. That means you have to do the puzzles in that room all over again. Maybe some of our fellow Boomers who are playing this game will benefit from MY experience. At least we now know that the save "problem" is not a "glitch". (I have presently just entered the YELLOW room).

Thanks for the info Sandy. urock Come to think about this, that is what I generaly do in every game and thus did not have your save problem.

Have fun.

I'm happy to be of help, Chief. I have just entered the "Blue Throne Room".I've been following the WT you told me about, and it's quite accurate. Been moving along without any more "save" problems, and hopefully I'll come to the end of the game so I can pat myself on the back. LOL I didn't think I would like this game at first, but I find it to be utterly fascinating.

OK, fellow Boomers. I'm in the "Yellow Swimming Pool". I've been trying to aim the white ball into the chute, but without success so far. I know I have to move the "blocks" into the correct positions in order to deflect the ball to go into the chute, but so far, it's a no go. I just have to keep on trying. The WT shows a pic of the proper positions of the blocks, but I haven't gotten it right yet. I HAVE completed the puzzles in the other two rooms so far.

Hello Sandy. That one needs indeed some precision placements of those blocks.

Do not forget that the fardest blocks must be in the fardest squares. You then only need to adjust them to be in the right line as shown by the WT.

And the one at back left must not block the ball to go to the hole in the back wall.

Good luck.

Thanks so much, Chief. After manipulating the blocks MANY times, I finally got the ball to go into the chute, so right now I'm in the "Gray Dome" Room. I LOVE this game.
