For those of you who need instructions for cryptic crossword clues, check out this page .

These have all been created by a variety of well-known constructors. There may be one or two that we might question, but they're still fun. Please explain all answers.

-1. A sailor's cited for attacks (8)
-2. Genteel sport rejected reprehensible behavior, profit (6)
-3. Withered area of a garden, loaded with sunshine (8)
-4. Hunters might use these small vehicles, assuming a chain of hills (10)
-5. Lunch or supper that right out of tin, e.g. (4)
-6. A high schooler, and therefore extremely peevish (4)
-7. Prototype displayed in appliance store (8)
-8. Transports some doors (9)
-9. Reportedly, a fake antiquated laundry mechanism (7)
-10. Fished with a line all snarled and no leader (6)
-11. Oddly tactile crystal structure (7)
-12. Cookware expert Julia's ultimate solution for all problems (7)

Netflix needs to stop asking if I'm still watching and start asking if I've switched the laundry over yet

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
