Oh, shoot, Drac! That's a glitch I've never had, but I have been killed many times in the nunnery!

I've never had this glitch before either playing from my disks on Windows 7. Tried an earlier save and this time Ahzra didn't appear. Going to try an even earlier save this time... very frustrating. I've also found the GOG version won't override previous saves. I think this is my 5th time to play this game and I've never had these issues before.

I'm still using my original disks, too. I couldn't get it to run on Windows 7, but it works fine on XP. That's really a shame you're having those problems. hope you can get it working.
I'm really getting the urge to play now! I'm sure I've played it at least 20 times.

Oh, it works quite nicely on Windows 7. You just have to install in compatibility mode. I have it listed in our Windows 7 and games thread in the Glitches forum.

My laptop has XP, so that's what I use. I have a newer laptop with 7, but I hate it, so I keep using the older one. Go figure...

" I've also found the GOG version won't override previous saves." Heck !! Hope you are able to get sorted, Draclvr !! I can overwrite saves running the GOG version in WinXP. [There are only 12 saves though so can't go too mad.]

Well, I went from Grrr... to outright snarling. Any previous save I went back to had problems with missing characters and no way to continue in the game. I uninstalled it, ran CCleaner on the registry and am going to try it one more time. If the issues are still there, I'll let GOG know and just install it from my disks.

Oh, dear !! That doesn't sound up to the usual GOG standard, Draclvr so I'm sure they'll try to get it fixed for you. [I am presuming you have it in WIn7 ??]

Yes, I do. The original disks work on Windows 7 when installed in compatibility mode. I just have to go through applying the patch to update it to version 1.1 so I can save anywhere. Now this makes me even more annoyed - when I uninstalled the game, my download also disappeared. Moving from snarling to the next level...

I've never had it happen before either. Actually, something wonky is going on somewhere in my Windows 7 and I can't figure it out. I thought the hard drive first, but some odd things are happening on my Windows 8 drive too, so it's got to be hardware somewhere. I am going to post a quick question down in Glitches.
