I'm trying to remember which Monkey Island game I played a long time ago. I remember the opening scene had Guybrush as a prisoner on a ship, and he had to kick over a container of hot coals to burn the ropes off of His wrists. I also remember a scene in a barber shop and a tooth getting knocked out. Does this sound familiar?
Thanks

Gordon, I think you're talking about 2 different games.

In Monkey Island IV: Escape from Monkey Island the game opens with Guybrush tied to a mast of a pirate ship and he kicks over a container of hot coals.

The sequence of the tooth being knocked out in a barber shop is in Monkey Island III: Curse of Monkey Island. That game opens with Guybrush a prisoner in the hold of LeChuck's ship, but he's not tied up so his escape doesn't involve burning through ropes.

Hope this helps.

Gordon, I don't think this game is available as a download yet. I see some folks requesting it for a download on GOG - maybe eventually this will happen. wave

Gordon, although not a download, you could post here in the Trading Post to see if there's a Boomer who has a disk copy he/she is willing to part with.

Also, a few Boomers have been successful finding older games at thrift shops.

Good luck.
