I can't seem to get into either Black Mirror or this game - Lost Crown. But when I read what you wrote about it being right up there with Syberia or TLJ I get interested. My question is, did you find yourself bored at the beginning of the game and you just kept going anyway and it got better, or did you love it from the start?
I want to play games that I love as much as TLJ and Syberia, I miss those kind of games.

I played a few games made by Jonathan Boakes and for this i know, they start slow, they give you time to acclimatize. You have all the time to look around and wonder what happens.
It takes time for a good story to unfold.
I love this.
But i know most people don't.
Perhaps you will like these games better when you go on. You should give it a try. They are both worth it.

Thanks for the reply seagul, I am thinking I should start them both over again and push on through, I don't want to miss out on a great game.

Hey Chesnut. I will agree with Seagul. TLC does start out on the slower side. Getting to know the towns people & locations takes a bit of time & backtracking but trust me....There are locations & people outside of Saxton that will have you on the edge of your seat & the farther into the game you get the more interesting it becomes. PLUS... I'd hate to see you not play this first game as I believe "THE LAST CROWN" will be released this year & it looks GREAT!! Give it another shot chesnut. Good Luck!!

The Lost Crown was an amazing experience. It was more than a game, it made you a part of it. The further you get the more it draws you in.

chesnut...The Lost Crown was a real experience for me.....I don't know how to put it in words, but.....I did cry at the church....The game gets very emotional.....

I guess I just put my experience in so many words......You will love the game.....

You have to experience the story, and get into the country....

The game is very deep.....Take your time...You will enjoy it.... happydance

I enjoyed both of these games very much, but I would have to say that The Lost Crown ranks higher with me. It's my favorite adventure game of the last ten years. wave

I found the Lost Crown a very long & engaging game but felt so frustrated when finishing as I didn't think a lot of things were explained. I am really looking forward to The Last Crown & hoping for another long engaging esperience but most of all hope it answers some questions about the first game! cool

I totally agree Chrissie. I had a few questions myself but my hope was that there would be a sequal or maybe even more to this story. I cant wait to see what's in store for us all!!

For me, the ranking is:

TLJ
The Lost Crown
Syberia

All three are fantastic games, though, and all three had me completely immersed in their worlds. Personally, I prefer games that start more slowly, as you have time to really explore the characters and the environment. So excited that all of these games are getting well deserved sequels. thumbsup
