I loathe people who keep dogs. They are cowards who haven't got the guts to bite people themselves.
August Strindberg (1849 - 1912), A Madman's Diary, 1895
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How to Shower Like a Woman
1. Take off fourteen layers of clothing you put on this morning.
2. Walk to bathroom wearing robe and towel on head. If you happen to see boyfriend/husband along the way, ignore juvenile "turban-head" jokes and run to bathroom.
3. Look at womanly physique in the mirror and stick out stomach so as to complain about how fat you're getting.
4. Turn on hot water only.
5. Get in the shower -- once you've found it through all the steam.
6. Look for facecloth, armcloth, legcloth, long loofah, wide loofah, and pumice stone.
7. Wash hair once with Cucumber and Lemon shampoo with 83 added vitamins.
8. Rinse hair.
9. Condition your hair with Cucumber and Lemon conditioner enhanced with natural crocus oil. Leave on hair for fifteen minutes.
10. Wash face with crushed apricot facial scrub for ten minutes until red and raw.
11. Try to wash entire rest of body with Ginger Nut and Java Cake body wash.
12. Complain bitterly when you realize that your boyfriend/husband has once again been EATING your Ginger Nut and Java Cake body wash.
13. Rinse conditioner off hair (this takes at least fifteen minutes as you must make sure that all the conditioner has come off).
14. Debate shaving armpits and legs and decide that you can't be bothered.
15. Scream loudly when your boyfriend/husband flushes the toilet and you get a rush of cold water.
16. Turn hot water on full and rinse off.
17. Dry with a towel the size of a small African country.
How To Shower Like a Man
1. Take off clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed and leave them in a pile on the floor.
2. Walk to bathroom wearing a towel. If you see your girlfriend/wife along the way, flash her.
3. Look at your manly physique in the mirror and suck in your gut to see if you have pecs. (No.)
4. Turn on the water.
5. Check for pecs again. (Still No.)
6. Get in the shower.
7. Don't bother to look for a washcloth. (You don't use one.)
8. Wash your face.
9. Wash your armpits.
10. Wash your groin and surrounding area.
11. Wash your behind.
12. Shampoo your hair, do not use conditioner.
13. Make a shampoo Mohawk.
14. Open the door and look at yourself in the mirror.
15. Pee.
16. Rinse off and get out of the shower.
17. Return to the bedroom wearing a towel, if you pass your girlfriend/wife, flash her.
Have you ever asked what men are really thinking when they say the things they do? Well now is your opportunity to answer that very question...
"I'm going fishing."
Really means...
"I'm going to drink myself dangerously stupid, and stand by a stream with a stick in my hand, while the fish swim by in complete safety."
"Let's take your car."
Really means...
"Mine is full of beer cans, burger wrappers and completely out of gas."
"Woman driver."
Really means...
"Someone who doesn't speed, tailgate, swear, make obscene gestures and has a better driving record than me."
"I don't care what color you paint the kitchen."
Really means...
"As long as it's not blue, green, pink, red, yellow, lavender, gray, mauve, black, turquoise or any other color besides white."
"It's a guy thing."
Really means...
"There is no rational thought pattern connected with it, and you have no chance at all of making it logical."
"Can I help with dinner?"
Really means...
"Why isn't it already on the table?"
"Uh huh," "Sure, honey," or "Yes, dear."
Really means...
Absolutely nothing. It's a conditioned response like Pavlov's dog drooling
"Good idea."
Really means...
"It'll never work. And I'll spend the rest of the day gloating."
"Have you lost weight?"
Really means...
"I've just spent our last $30 on a cordless drill."
"My wife doesn't understand me."
Really means...
"She's heard all my stories before, and is tired of them."
"It would take too long to explain."
Really means...
"I have no idea how it works."
"I'm getting more exercise lately."
Really means...
"The batteries in the remote are dead."
"I got a lot done."
Really means...
"I found 'Waldo' in almost every picture."
"We're going to be late."
Really means...
"Now I have a legitimate excuse to drive like a maniac."
"Hey, I've read all the classics."
Really means...
"I've been subscribing to Playboy since 1972."
"You cook just like my mother used to."
Really means...
"She used the smoke detector as a meal timer, too."
"I was listening to you. It's just that I have things on my mind."
Really means...
"I was wondering if that red-head over there is wearing a bra."
Good morning y'all.
Brrrr, 7 degrees this morning and going up to the 20's. I'm ready for spring. I wanna see green.
Typical Friday, washer and dryer going. Will do my treadmill very soon, then again this afternoon. Other then that, I don't have anything planned and the weekend is clear. Not getting together with Susie as it is Super Bowl Sunday and I think they may have plans.
Guess I'll go take a look see what match 3 games I have in my match 3 folder.
Wonderful day to everyone. Stay warm.
Bets
A lovely day here finally. Warm desert air blowing out to sea in one of our nice Santa Ana conditions. Perfect for tomorrow's Implosion of our old electrical plant. Gonna be a BIG deal. It's about 1 1/2 miles (10 blocks) from me on the bay. I can see it from my roof or 2 streets up my street. I'd love to go see it come down in person, but 5 AM is not my best time. They have opened up a nice viewing area there and invited everyone.
Big plant hasn't been used in years and years and it sits on Prime bay front property which will be redeveloped. They say it's going to be Park area, but we all know it's going to go to the highest bidder for hotels and all that good stuff. rotfl It will be a 'last minute change of plans' as it usually is. 'They' think we don't know.
Anyway, gonna watch it live on TV or maybe climb up on my roof. I think being closer might pose a health hazard of dust or something else esp. with my asthma. Can hardly wait. We have never imploded anything around here! taz
Fantastic Friday ya'll puppy
I'd still be asleep if the Skyman hadn't woken me with little tiny chirps. It's a beautiful day out there so will most likely take the monkey dogs out for a run around at some point. I know I have laundry on the list and cooking dinner. Not sure what else. Perhaps a nap. puppy
Ohhhh ahhhhh! Finally found the website they just started here of our 'seal pool' which is constantly in the news and in court with mega lawsuits about seals vs. humans.
The 'Children's Pool' was donated to the City of San Diego somewhere I think in the late 1800's or early 1900's. It's in La Jolla and it's a nice sloping beach with a man made breakwater. Well, over the years, our seal population found it's perfect for pupping and it's become quite an attraction. Our new Mayor finally decided to put up a live webcam so everyone can watch.
I can't figure out the exact address, but if you want to see our beautiful San Diego beach and seals live and in person, you can type in http://www.sandiego.gov/mayor and then on the right side, half way down is a small box that is the seal cam. Just click on the tiny box in that picture and it goes full screen. Awesome. I'm hooked.
Good morning boomies, I tried to sleep through the day and resume life tomorrow but reality hit when text messages alerted me to unread emails. rotfl Technology does not permit us to hide. lol
Anyways, I am in the corner plugging away and watching my outdoor wildlife chase each other in my yard. Love my squirrels, they are so entertaining.
Sorta, thanks for sharing the site!
