Came across this in "Work in Progress". Apologies if I've already posted it...

Tell me the names of the following fictional people. For example "The ovoid who suffered regal martial reconstruction" - Humpty Dumpty

-1. The son of a musician who hastily departed after displaying his porcine kleptomaniacal tendencies.
-2. The somewhat disagreeable girl with a green thumb.
-3. The gourd-consuming husband who couldn't afford to maintain his spouse's lifestyle.
-4. The stupid man who is now an acquaintance of a pastry chef with sound business sense.
-5. The medical practitioner who has little regard for meteorological vagaries when travelling
-6. The boy who presumably woke up one day semi-shod
-7. The boy who thinks it's smart to eat dessert with his fingers.
-8. The jolly potentate who liked to order the string section about.
-9. The girl who suffered a total mammalian loss, hadn't a clue what to do about it, and was advised to do nothing.
-10. The easily startled girl with dubious taste in cuisine.
