I'm ready to play again and I have a strong desire to replay Morrowind. I just loved the different effects you could get from magic and the flying. However, all my saves are gone. I'd have to start completely fresh which means deciding and installing whatever mods I like. Not the new ones because my machine isn't up to it, but some of the smaller mods. I feel like I should get into something different to play till I eventually get a new computer. I just miss it. Like going without chocolate.

Playing should be about having fun....have you thought about playing through as a different type of character than the last time?

When I got my new machine, I looked at the instructions for the new "colourful" Morrowind, SharonB, but they were horrendous !! So I'm going to stick with it as it is. I love the game and at least it's one of the few RPGs I can play right through to the end

Sharon, I've played Morrowind and Oblivion for many months on end, and I love them both, with a slight preference for Morrowind. Maybe it's time for you to play Oblivion. It's a great game, not quite as dark as Morrowind (no Ashlands) but really very enjoyable. (I really should never read these posts. Now I'm yearning to play Morrowind again... )
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

This is the 5th time I'm playing Oblivion -2 X on PC and 3 X on PS- and it's still my favorite game next to Killzone 2. 1st time I was a girl Khajiit then good looking male Imperials now I'm a male Khajiit. I play the game off and on, not steady. Alot of literature and blogs out there on this game. One thing, I think if you follow through with the main quest and close the big Oblivion Gate, the little gate won't appear around the hinterland
