I dont know what is going on but I cannot for the life of me get the collar off of the cat. Everytime that I try she says that she wont do it with the knife. I did everything else ( went back to the rats) but i do not get an option to remove the collar only to look at the cat or the food bowl. Any suggestions?

violett, I suspect you have missed a step that you need to do before you can take the collar off. I kind of remember having that happen to me too. I retraced my steps and found I needed to do something else first. It's been a few years since I played the game, so I don't remember exactly what it was though.

Please check your PM.

Also I sent you a saved game. It might land on your spam folder since AOL usually places them there.

I have a niggling memory that it had something to do with the things on the dining room table, but don't quote me on that!

I don't know Vista but you can do a search for Vampyre and see if that work.

Maybe someone who knows can clue us.

Jenny100 posted this for possible place for saves:

There is more than one possibility.

C:\Users\your user name here\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)

C:\Users\ your User name\AppData\Roaming\Game name folder or publisher name folder

There are probably a few more, depending on the game. You'll just have to look around. If you know the name of the save, you can try what Cathy suggests (do a search). Be sure Vista's search is configured to look everywhere in the user's folder.

Be sure that you have all 3 files added in that saved game folder.
Check-scroll to the start of the load list - they might be arranged by dates.
