Whilst both games start out in pleasant enough villages, looney4labs, to my mind the one in M&M 6 certainly offered better shops.
And the first enemies weren't so madly difficult to beat, either !!
Of course, it could very easily be my poor combat talents holding me back

but I do feel much more "pressured" at this start of M&M 8 than I ever did at the start of M&M 6 !!
[So maybe I should have said "pressured" rather than "restricted" in my previous post.]
But I will
certainly have to "run away and live to fight another day" a lot more

and for me, too much of that gets boring ....
Even worse, I read somewhere that the Pirates here (the first enemies) constantly regenerate

whereas in M&M 6 it was at least a year or more before anything regenerated - which was a massive bonus !!
Obviously I'll have more tries but I'm definitely NOT over excited at this moment
