I just finished Amertis and Atlantzone. They are fabulous even with Atlantzone being in html and only working in Internet Explorer.

Are there any others to compare with these?

8dognight, you started with two of the best we have in Free Games Galore.

You may want to try these based on the two games you played:

The Oracle

Broken Sword 2.5

Mental Repairs

Dead Cyborg

The Marionette

Penumbra Tech Demo (with a small action scene)

The Mystery of Castle Wildenberg

They are not as long as the two you played, but I beleive worth the time you will put in playing them.

There are certainly others that I forgot and that the members can tell us about.

Have fun. yay

Thanks. Amertis and Atlantzone are remarkable games. I'm so glad I missed them when they came out so I got to relish them now.

The Oracle is good, too.

I haven't played anything like Mystery of Castle Wildenberg so I'm going to try it next.

If you think of any others in your list, please, let me know.

A Tale of Two Kingdoms is an excellent free game, long and really well done. There's only one thing wrong with it: if you don't do something in the very first section of the game, you cannot get the best ending...and there are several.

I also loved The Devil's Shroud, available at AGS, but I never could get the third installment to play.

Gil.

I ran across a positive reference to a game called The Artifact on another forum which said the style is similar to Mikael Nyqvist's Carol Reed stories.

Is The Artifact a good one?

It's not that easy to find slide show photograph games and I'm interested in them.

Thanks.

I am just trying Travelers suggestion of A Tale of Two Cities...These are a fantastic way to keep occupied while waiting for your next favorite release. There can be quite a dry spell between games it seems, then all of a sudden there are quite a few...Nevertheless, I will use this as my inbetween time....Thank you so much for this
