I just took advantage of a game sale at the Zodiac where every game is a star game site. I downloaded (or I think I did) their downloader which they state you need to install your game. However the downloader did not show up anywhere on my desktop or in the start menu as they stated. I found it in documents and looked for their downloader symbol. I think I found it and signed in to their site. Now it tells me my game is downloading but will take 27 hours? This doesn't sound right to me. Am I missing something here? Perhaps the downloader didn't install correctly? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm not familiar with the website you're talking about. But if this is a big sale, their servers may be overloaded.
It's not a big deal where their downloader downloads. After installing it should put shortcuts on your desktop or in your Start menu. If it doesn't create a shortcut, you can right-click the downloader's executable and create one on your desktop if you want ("Send to Desktop - create shortcut").

I have bought a lot of games from Zodiac without any problems. However, there was a time a few months ago that I couldn't access their site. It hasn't happened again. Zodiac is a lot like Steam except more adventure games from what I can see.

I don't seem to be able to find the website you're talking about. Google found me zodiacgames.weebly.com but I don't see any adventure games there -- only 2 RPG's (which they call "adventure"), a few casuals (which they call "strategy & puzzle"), and other action/arcade games.
