Hello,

during the installation under XP from Ring The Legend of the Nibelungen I become these message:

"Your local hard drive has not enough space memory"

But I have enough and many space memory (20 GB) on my local hard drive partition.

Useing the XP compatibility mode does not have succsess.

These two patches:

The Ring WindowsXP fix:

http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=eng&sys=pc&file=ring_xp.zip&ref=ps

ringp1_0.zip:

http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=eng&sys=pc&file=ringp1_0.zip&ref=ps

are only tu use after an succsessfully installation from the game.

On this page:

http://www.cdaccess.com/html/pc/ring.htm

I discovered the following text:

"Might be difficult to install on Windows XP systems with large hard drives. It might say that there is not enough hard drive space when there is lots of space. If that happens try installing more products first or select a drive with less available space."

But how much GB must be left over after I installed other produchts for a working installation from the Ring game?

How can I install the game under XP?

About a help from you I would be very glad and happy smile

Freindly Greetings from

Moe Perry

Sounds like you need Philip.
Philip is a utility that Inferno recommended for temporarily filling your hard drive enough that old games will be able to detect you have hard drive space. Inferno gives information on how to use Philip in her Atlantis Setup ***here***.

You can download Philip here

Glad Philip was able to help you out.
Enjoy the game. They don't make games like this anymore.
