I just got a message on my homepage that IE 10 is avaiable for download. I'm currently running IE9 on my Windows 7 laptop and I haven't heard anything about IE 10. Maybe it's designed for Windows 8, which I do not have.

The new release is for Windows 7.
IE10 was already included with Windows 8.

You can read about IE10 as compared to the new Chrome release at ZDNet

Here's another article about it at Computerworld

Thanks Jenny. After I posted here last night I Googled it and it seemed to have good reviews, so I went ahead and downloaded it. It seemed to take forever to download and install, and frankly I can't tell any difference from IE9. From what I read, it seemed to be designed for Windows 8, but has recently been adapted for Windows 7.
