Terrific Tuesday ya'll puppy

It's sunny out there. Love those blue skies. Hugs to Joe and Evelyne.

Not sure what I shall be doing today but I'll know by 10 p.m. wave

I lost Monday! Can't believe it's Tuesday already. Yesterday must have been hectic and I'm putting it out of my mind. Today I wait for my yard kid AGAIN. He came over at 11 am yesterday, said he would be back to do my mowing after he did another yard up the street. I left my shed open for him and he never showed. Nothing unusual for him. I just wait patiently till he finally appears unannounced and am glad he's here to do all the nasty work. Hope he shows today or my back lot will need a bulldozer to clear the high weeds.

Does anyone know anything about muscle aches and lack of potassium? I have been achy forever, and my neighbor lady asked if I was taking potassium? Nope, and hadn't been doing vitamins for a year either because of upset tummy problems. I took one vitamin yesterday (has some potassium in it) and actually felt better. Hummmmm. Could it be? Off to buy potassium pills today to see if this is the cause of all my aches and pains. Would be nice to be able to get up from a chair without screaming. Anyone else know about achy muscle/potassium deficiency?????

Sorta, do not play with potassium supplements without doctor approval. It creates other issues. If you want potassium eat a banana, beets, strawberries, greens etc. Get a blood test to check your levels and see if you are actually in need of a supplement.

Ditto what Ana said. You could try eating one or two bananas a day and see if that helps. wave

We are all having a flashback today. It's sunny, bright and chilly but definitely not cold. The weather report keeps reminding us that on this day in 1993 we had Snow in amounts varying from 4-20". We lost our power for days, and from that year on I kept a big ole pile of firewood available just in case.

The day has decided I should do bills and do step one of the dreaded income tax. wave

Still Morning here so Hello everyone!
Thanks for the heads up on the potassium, Ana. My "knowledgeable" friend told me she thought I should be taking some so... I will now cease and desist. Not fond of bananas at all. I do like them dehydrated so guess I can do up a bunch! (Haven't been doing it for very long.)
Oh Joe, so sorry your Mum has to wait another day. Evelyne, you know my heart is sad for you!!
Hi Nan. Hope you are having a great day!!
And to everyone else who are also wonderful Boomies, Happy Gaming!! wave

Lotus, throw a banana, a cup of berries of your choice and a piece of a beet in a blender with some almond milk and you have an awesome potassium rich smoothie that will not taste like bananas.

Dear friends, thank you so very much for all your prayers, good thoughts and many hugs. I feel like I'am in such good and kind hands with my GB family. I feel I'am being loved by you all. It warms my heart to have you as friends! kissy Thank you!!

I could throw quite a few pottery objects today and they came out nice. It relaxed me a bit.

Joe: I'am so sorry to hear that Mum is still in hospital. I understand Doc though. The lungs must really be liquid free before she comes home, otherwise she can't breath very good. I'am praying that she can come home tomorrow!

For everybody who is ailing: get well wishes and prayers are on the way.

This girl is going to sleep now. Already 8.20 p.m. here. Happy afternoon and evening to the US Boomies, and a wonderful evening to Haroula, the only other GB member on this side of the pond (I guess?).

Love!

Evelyne

Evelyne hearts Please remember to take care of yourself.

Joe, so sorry mom can't come home today. I hope she can clear her lungs quickly.

I have Dr. Phil playing in the background and my son walks by and starts yelling OMG, that's a friend of mine and sure enough the couple on there both live by my house and he is FB friends with them. Small world!

Thanks for the advice on Potassium! I went to the store to buy some and realized that the 'supplements' contain only 2-3% of the daily requirement. Not worth the money when I can get much more in a banana or even better, pinto beans (which I am currently fixing for tostadas). Wow.

Why waste the money when the foods can do much better. My neighbor looked up the potassium values for a load of food and all of the foods he listed I DON'T eat. Oh my! Rarely eat bananas or orange juice (plays havoc with my tummy), hardly ever eat beans, etc.

So I'm going to buy and concentrate on those foods that I should be eating. Happily, I had just bought some brussel sprouts which I love but are expensive, and they contain loads of potassium. Gotta go cook them up. Then I will see after a week or two if the aches go away. Gonna be fun.

Sorta please check with your doc about all that before you do more harm then good. Too much of somethings is worse then too little. Your water soluble vitamins will flush any extra out but the fat soluble ones remain!

You need a balance of sodium and potassium in your body. that is how you move. The one is on the outside of the cell and the other is on the inside. When they switch places your muscles contract, and when they go back to their oringinal place the muscles relax!!

Night Evelyne sleep well!!

Ana hope the project is moving right along for you!!

Lotus Happy Gaming to you too. lol Spinich also is a good sorce of potassium especially the baby ones.

L4l have fun with the books!! Which side of the 4-20 were you on??? Bet the kids had fun that year though. lol

My10 I hope the head starts to feel better so you can make it to the concert!!

Hi Leeana have a lovely day!!

wave

Son is at work and we are off to Bible Study. We'll get home in time to feed the 4-legged monkeys, fold some clothes, swap the dishes, and hit the hay with a book and hope it doesn't hit back. puppy
