I am in the classroom looking at the seating chart. When I click on Taylor,to seat her in the lower left seat, I click on the seat with Taylor's name tag, but it won't release. I cannot place her or for that matter the blank to her right. Any help would be appreciated. FJT

Hi FJT,

Wonder - have you checked the cupboard, label of the coat hanging on coat rack and candy wrappers on floor?
On the close up of the puzzle, have you read the note at top left?

Hi MaG. Thanks for your reply. Yes I have done all those things that you suggested. I can place Taylor in other spots, but not the correct one. It takes several clicks on my mouses's left button to do so however. I'm wondering if there is some sort of glitch here.

Hi FJT,

Are you able to place other name tags in that particular seat? I haven't heard of a glitch at this puzzle, but that's not to say there isn't one. smile Are you close enough to a previous saved game that you might go back and replay this part? That can sometimes solve issues such as this.

Hi Rushes. I was able to place another name in that slot. I removed it and then tried to place the same name again and it didn't take. Another weird thing too: if I try to place another name over a slot, it places it in a totally different seat. Figure that out!! I'll either go back to a saved game (per your suggestion) or simply skip the puzzle. Thanks again.

Now that is weird! woozy All I can think of is perhaps to adjust your initial cursor positioning when placing the name tags.

The puzzle skip feature is a boon, but I hope you get through without having to use it all the same. grin

I was able to resolve the above mentioned problem. But I am now faced with another. I am presently in the sawmill as Sherlock Holmes. I just broke my knife (I think on the wall). I now have no way of opening the sacks. I've tried to retrieve the knife, but it is nowhere to be found. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks, FJT
