Hi fellow Boomers,
I just played a TRIAL version of "The 39 Steps". What I saw of it was fascinating and
I DO intend to purchase and play this interesting game. Of COURSE I will need a "MAGnificent WT in order to do that.and naturally we have our "CHIEF" as well who might want a hand in this project qas well. If you think I'm "hinting", you would be thinking correctly. How "subtle" can one get.
LOL

Sandy,

It's an interactive story more than it is a game - check here.

If it follows the rest of that genre - there will be no need of a walkthrough - just have fun reading and following the storline.

It's nice that you enjoyed it. smile

I'm sure you are right, Mag, about it being an interactive story, and I WILL enjoy playing it. Thanks for your reply.

Found this: http://thestorymechanics.com/. You'll see a box on the right side of the page saying the game is out now. Beautiful graphics!

Just remember before you buy it that it is not really a game, just an interactive story. I don't want you to be disappointed.

I loved the Alfred Hitchcock/Robert Donat movie that was done a long time ago. I downloaded the digital version from Gamefly for $14.99- so far I like it a lot. It is definitely an interactive story. There is a different publisher for the PC, digital and tablet/phone versions.

I just now finished playing it and it does not need a walkthrough. It took me a while to get used to the interface though. Have fun!

I am sure this game has already been discussed here, but I missed the post. Would someone be so kind as to direct me to the discussion. The game sounds interesting.

kazzmo, I moved you to the correct spot. It is not a game, it is an interactive story. I am sure the rest of this thread should answer your questions.

Happy Gaming!

Hi Ana. BTW, "Sanford" is a "HE", not a "she". LOL. I have not yet purchased the full version of this game because I believe that the $15 price is a tad too high for it. I will wait till the price drops down to $10 before I will purchase it. If I remember correctly, the game is mouse driven.
