Question: when a letter occurs more than once in the solution, is the first correct guess placed in it's first position available from left to right?

manxman, short answer: not necessarily.

Lex changed the rule a few puzzles back so, if a guessed letter appears more than once in a puzzle, the setter may place the letter in any of its positions.
