Good morning. I'm finally here, sipping my tea and reading the posts. Thanks Joe for opening. Hi Haroula, Sue, Gerry, Gail, and all who wander in here today. I have the morning off so I can clean up my apartment. I was with my Mom yesterday. She was so surprised when I walked in. She looks good but is suffering with a cold and a bad cough. I didn't want to leave her.

Have a great day today. smile

Midgie hearts

Just do it.

Thumping Good Thursday ya'll puppy

It is grey grey grey out there. Ick! It is supposed to be raining and sure looks like it, but it's not raining at this second. I don't think I will be able to get the monkeys out, but maybe the rain will take a break.

I was wiggly and woggly last night...silly brain would not shut up. And of course, just to annoy me, it will not turn on now that I'm vertical.

Just checked the library to see if they had the rest of this series of books I am reading...nope, just the first two. I really don't understand how libraries order. At least they had the first two. So often it's the middle few. I'll have to have Soot check and see if they have it as a physical book as opposed to an ebook. The ebook I can check online, but can't search for the physical book from home.

Back later wave

Yard kid finally stopped by. Had no intention of doing anything except to give me a bunch of excuses which I didn't let him elaborate on. Blah blah blah, had to go to church on Easter Sunday (most of us did I think), trouble with the 'roommate' situation and she's now moved out.

Had to come back when halfway to the city for a job with the roofer to get into a row with the now ex roommate. Seems the sister in law (he lives with) called in a panic to say she was moving out without paying rent. Uhhuh? She was moving out on April ONE. No rent due so I figure unless they wanted ONE day? How petty can you get? So my hour spent typing up the 'please move' papers was wasted.

I'm just annoyed with him enough to probably not have him doing anything here again. He was obviously miffed I didn't want to listen to his woes, but I'm so tired of all the drama. He has plenty of other jobs.

HOUSE kitty korner is SOLD! No signs, no nothing, and as of yesterday on the realtor web sites was NOT for sale. Today, Hazmat showed up with a guy I'd never seen, they looked around the fence, didn't go in, nobody seemed to have keys to gate or house. Finally used some sort of 'sniffer' machine pointed towards the windows and then drove off. I went to realtor website and it listed as SOLD no information available.

No new deed filed yet and have no idea sold to whom. I'm just guessing the niece who was here last month, sold it to one of those 'we buy houses' places sight unseen long distance. Probably with all contents, as is. Darn, would have been a great rental for me if I had the dough or even knew it was for sale. Geez.

Now we wait and watch to see who shows up to move stuff out or whatever. I'm thinking it's NOT the Snake and Company guy because he would have already been over there all month liberating everything he could carry.

Can hardly wait to see what happens over there. Hoping it's for the good.

Still working on rehabbing my shower. Slow and tedious. Probably no shower tonight either as the rubber paint on coating is taking forever to dry. Ugh. hardwall

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Hullo everybody. wave

My weekend is winding down. But it's been a pretty good one as weekends go. thumbsup

Yesterday I did my tax return, and I'm getting over $700 back, which is good for me. Then I went to Walmart store for dry goods.

Today it's been cloudy, damp, and cold all day. I took Baby out and went walking all over creation, and about the time I'm ready to call it quits the sun comes out. smirk

I didn't find anything good either. frown

Came back home and gave Baby a bath then watched her run all around the yard like a tornado rolling in the grass. lol

She's clean again for a little while. puppy

I got my return authorization from HP for the laptop I'm sending back, and I am restoring it back to factory condition as I speak.

I was on line looking at computers all morning and my brain hurts. crazy

I think I may have found one. It's an ASUS, and it's got nothing but great reviews. yes

I hope you're all having a great day.

joe

Sorta, lots of goings on by you! I hope that you get good new neighbors.

Joe, I hope your next computer is perfect. I thought of you when I went to the river. My beach where I find the heads is completely under water. No head hunting while the dogs swam today.
